What a shitty draw for the Qualifiers :help:

Zheng, Radwanska A., Kleybanova, Kvitova, Li, Kanepi, Dushevina or Pironkova :help:

Pironkova or Dushevina would be the best for Tamira I guess

Although I would love to see Aga vs. Tamira :hearts:

This is one of those premier or whatever they're called? I'm still confused by it all. How does it go?

Dubai is Premier 5
Okay, thanks.:)

So here is what it looks like.

AO > Indian Wells > Dubai > Sydney > Hobart

And do top players have to participate in a certain amount of premier 5 events? Cause I know for the ATP the top players have to play 4 500 events, and I assume those are equivalent to Premier 5's. I've got this book that explains it all but at 1:30am I'm too tired to be looking at books. :p

A Top 10 Player must play each Premier 5 Tournament at least once every other year.

MORITA replacing PEER (Denial of Visa)

There was some discussion about it last year because of the mandatory status, and some articles on wtatour.com and/or this forum iirc?

Last year, Tzipi Obziler withdrew from Dubai qualifying - she herself was granted a visa, but her coach was not - so in the end she didn't play
