Sorana's pictures thread

It seems like she gained alot of weight :confused:
Since the beginning of the season she has problems with her movement…
I think she definitely needs to lose some weight!

I actually quite like her playing outfit, I like the patterns and colours, I like the skirt. Maybe the top could do with a different cut though, it's a bit of a conservative cut. Maybe sleeveless?

Thanks Will. Don't particularly like the strapping on the hand. You can kind of tell she contacts the backhand more awkwardly and has to kind of dig it out from a slightly later and more cramped contact point than the forehand. Hope that hand thing isn't serious.

I didn't notice her hand was taped while watching her play against Larcher de Brito. I guess that explains the (unusual) awkwardness of some of her shots during that match.

I am a huge Sorana fan and also a self proclaimed racket nerd.....
I was watching Sorana Cirstea practice in Paris and it looked like she was hitting with a racket that was not her normal Wilson Blade 98. It was pretty blacked out and looked like a prototype. Maybe a new Blade BLX or some different Wilson BLX racket??
I don't know. One thing is for sure, she was hitting well with it in practice, but what was strange was she then played the match with her Blade 98.
I got close to the bench to take a photo of the racket when she was talking to Sven and Darren, the Adidas coaches to try and get a closer look.
I took some photos with my mobile phone and hope you like them.
Maybe the new racket will help her get back on the right track at Wimbledon!

Yes, you could be right, but it looked to have some pink or purple in the throat to me.

Sori really is SO sweet. So relaxed and very approachable, really hope she can pick her form up tomorrow against Schiavone. If I can get a good seat I will try and get some piccies. Oh and Vikilliam, should have some okay shots of Vika for you to pick through when I can get them online.

Watched Sori practice this morning, her general baseline shots looked good but her volleys and drop shots looked far from good :( Hopefully she polished them up in her afternoon session.
