Cibulkova won the first 19 games she played at this year's Australian Open. :worship:
What's the longest stretch a player has managed in a major before they lost a game?
Or the longest stretch before they lost their first game of the tournament?

I remember Lindsay Davenport at Indian Wells in 2005.
She won her QF 6-0 in the second set.
She beat Sharapova 6-0 6-0.
Went up 4-0 in the first set of the final against Kim.
That's 22 games.

well, Zvonareva herself has won 19 already this slam (at least) winning a first set, a bagel set and then winning a double bagel (1 at least + 6 + 6 + 6 = 19)
so we didn't have to look far.
however i do remember a thread where one of the old greats (nad, chris or Graf) had 24+ games in a row.

In 2005, Mariah Carey defeated J.Lo 6-0 6-0 and then Rihanna 6-0 4-0 so that's 22 games right there.
