I'm picking Cornet in two sets, although no result would surprise me.

It should be a great match.
Daniela has more experience and great results on the surface, but Alize is playing very well.
I say Alize in a tight two. I hope it goes three though.

didnt see alize's last match but the score looks impressive so i say cornet. but who knows.

I'd like Daniela to win this, but I don't see it happening. Cornet is definitely playing better at the moment.

This has to potential to be one of the best matches of the tournament, at least so far. Their match at New Haven, while not a display of either player at their best, was excellent drama. It's pretty close to a pick 'em for me.

Alize won 6-0 6-1 today and she won their last meeting with hantuchova 3-6 6-4 6-4 and she's playing better and she has good movement.

I want Hantuchova to win. Alize Cornet keeps reminding me of Kournikova for very odd reasons. She has a great game though- she would outclass Hantuchova when she matures.

Personally see the crowd rallying around Dani more than Alize---if only because she's a former semifinalist and they wouldn't want their local hopes to have been defeated by someone horribly mediocre (a 3rd round showing mediocre from last year's semifinalist, anyway.)

Would love to know what others think.

If so, Dani in 3. If not, Alize in 2.

I voted for Dani in 3 sets but I think Alize will win in 2 :sobbing:
