I actually thought she played extremely well - absorbed Petkovic's pace well and redirected it right where she wanted. I reckon she will beat Hantuchova and have a chance against Safina/Kanepi. This could be a big hardcourt slam for Cornet.

I'm still really excited about this win. Alize is really showing her stuff this year. I think she is going to take Daniela out and then lose to Safina in the 4th round (just because she lost to her last week). I wish her the best though and especially can't wait for the clay season.
