Who is Kristina Mladenovic?

I am watching her match with Patty Schnyder and I am really surprised with her tennis. Big serves, a very good forehand, and she is dominating the match by now.
In her profile, I see this is her 1st big tournament.

Any info about her?

Some people were saying that because her last results were quite poor... She lost to Sheed last week 63 61.

However Kristina has a big potential and deserves this WC.

She's really good for 15. She hits the ball so hard and deep. Not to mention quite a good first serve too. She has a perfect base for being a great player later on.

I only made it home for the 3rd set, and she does have loads of potential. Her 2 handed backhand looks like it could be a weapon.
