Wd Bepa tough 1st set

Tight 1st set, but Vera was sick last week and probably needed a few games

Magda seemed to give up in 2nd when she went down.

British Eurosport switched to the match just for the breaker, seamed like Rybarikova lost it mentalily in the breaker and it just went away.

Ye Rybarikova played well in the 1st set, Vera wasted lots of her chances in this set but finally she managed to close it out in TB :D Vera played better in the 2nd set :D

Is rybarikova a lesbian? The was the first time I have seen her, and I just got that feeling from her.

I am really disappointed Magda didn't put up more of a fight in the 2nd set after a nice start. Still these things happen and, hey, Vera really is at the best point in her career so far right so I can't be too surprised. :awww:

Good luck to Vera the rest of the way. This could be an outstanding tournament for her. I think 2009 is going to be an outstanding year for both of these girls.

Rybarikova is totally overrated here. Nothing special

I should add that Zvonareva will probably make it to the 4th round or the quarterfinals and if my guesswork is probably correct, she'll end up in the top 6-16 range by the end of the year. I'm feeling the number 7-8 for her for some reason. It feels "right".

Bepa had all the pain in the world winning that 1st set, never converting BPs or hold after breaking. But from 6-6 on, she was stellar.
