Radwanska leads 2-1.
Elena isn't a mchine error like Daniela but perhaps she will slow donw a little bit, when Melbourne is in sight.

Serena migt also retire.
Wow, Radwanska has a real shot at making the final.

Elena unless she decides that she has played enough already before AO.

Elena should win if she is not fatigued from already playing 7 matches to start the season.

I saw Radwanska win today. She played pretty well but she only did what it took to win, didn't play very special tennis. (probably like usual).

Elena seems to be whipping everyone at the moment. This year has been a very strong start for her. 75 63, 62 63, 63 61, 62 62, 64 61, 75 61, 62 64- can you get much better than that? This will be her biggest test so far, but judging from her results, she's playing really well and won't make the mistakes Hantuchova did on the opportunities.

Voted Elena because I have to be realistic.

But I want Radwanska to win.

Though the idea of Serena getting revenge for the olympics makes me

But still...Elena has been on point this season.

I fully expect that form to continue.

Including a win in a WTA final. Mind you, Aga never lost in a WTA final. But this is just a mid tournie meeting, so who knows, Elena might be in with a chance

Seriously though, Aga somehow did not look 100% to me in her match against Dani, so I am not putting my money on anyone this time ;). But Aga needs to give this her full attention from the start if she wants to win.

Aga will want to win cause in Poland we don't have hardcourts to practise. The longer she plays in Sydney the more prepared to AO she'll be.

I hope Aga, but I think Elena in three. She is in better form than Aga.

Besides Aga seems to never really pay attention to her first tournament of the year.

Elena will not make the stupid mistakes of Daniela, but I think that if the match will be complicate, she will not fight hard because she would like more to get some rest before the AO....

Radwanska is the type of player that makes you work if you want to win. There is no need to spend that much energy before the AO. What is Elena doing? She already won a tournament. Isn't there somebody around her to say 'ENOUGH!' ? :weirdo: I repeat this is the second time in a row things are looking good for Demented before a major. If she tries to win this tournament she is screwed. First Radwanska then either Serena or Caro only for a spot in final. Stoooopid :o Just withdraw with some fake injury nobody will care. I don't even like her that much but feel like she is good enough for at least one major.

Elena's 16th tournament is 150 points so if she wants to earn something in sydney she needs to win over ARAD ;)

It will be interesting again, since their last match was in spring 08. They both improved since then, and they have some similarities in their games. But I think this is Elena's big year, so she may take it in 3 sets, unless she decides to focus on AO more.
Elena is a big contender for this year's AO, so she knows what is at stake.
