Ten out of Ten for Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships 2009
An unprecedented 10 out of the top 10 womenís players in the world will grace the court at the Dubai Tennis Stadium when the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships gets underway on February 15th. And at least six of the top 10 menís players will be in action for the ATP tournament at the same venue the following week.

This extraordinary line-up will include both menís and womenís defending champions, Andy Roddick and Elena Demetieva, as well as crowd favourites Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and the ever-popular Maria Sharapova and Ana Ivanovic.

Nothing extraordinary since it is a Big 5 tourny (you have to play at least 4/5 of them) and the other tournies the same week are memphis and Bogota

Hmmm...I'm wondering if I should go and attend this year. I did go in 2003 and 2006, so my anniversary has arrived. :p

It will surely be an impressive field, even if a couple players do pull out here and there ;)

Even if Maria withdrawns, it "doesn't" matter because she will not be a top 10 player after the Australian Open.

This is gonna be a great event, though I did expect a strong field.

That's what I was thinking. I doubt she will be ready so those pervy ME men are sure to be dissapointed.

Of course she is:(. If some people had their way she would be banned from every tournament in the world.
