That does not explain why she lost? At the level she should be at, she knows better than to allow it to effect her. And how do you explain her first round win. She just played really bad. No excuses..

What a way to start out the year WTA :eek::lol:. Franny was a good sport to play in the qualis. Many other higher ranked players would have told the tourney off and jetted :lol::p

It doesn't say who made the error though, just that an administrative error caused her entry to be late. The error could have been by Fran's people. :shrug:

I bet the mistake was Fran's people fault. If it would've been the tournament's fault, she would've probably just collected a compensation and took off to Melbourne.
