In the upset of the day, Radwanska, ranked 126 in the world, defeated Schiavone 6-3 7-6(4). “I played really well, it was really tough, the weather was windy. It is tough to play here (in Hobart), sometimes it is hot, sometimes cold,” Radwanska said after the match. “She (Schiavone) plays good tennis, is a good player.
