well, Agnes broke for a 2*-0 lead in 2nd set but choked...her start in 2nd set made me think that it might go into 3rd set, but nope.
Agnes in 2nd set did some dumb dropshot that hit into the net in 4*-4 :sad: cost her the game.
Sania continued to impressed the crowd, her winner was sooooooo accurate and beautiful :eek:

The crowd needs control. Eva Asderaki did a good job, Sania said sorry because mainly the people cheered too much is those indian crowd.

Szavay played really bad, and chokefest in the second set :help:

Mirza's supporters were annoying as hell, a bunch of trashy and deplorable people .

I'm really glad Sania is showing signs of being able to compete again. The big test of course will come when Sania starts playing on the tour again. But so far so good and I hope Sania can have an injury free year.

Maybe this is her normal level, her hot streak in the summer of 07 being the exception.

Slumps don't last for several years.

i thought sania might win this, she was pretty good against chak and played well in the doubles. add in agnes being crap and its a straight sets wins for sania.

Since I'm so devastated I'll just say it was a positive tournament because Agnes got a set off someone in another match who got a 6-0 set off Zvonareva who is really good, which essentially means that Agnes is playing well enough to get a set off Zvonareva, which means Agnes is playing pretty well :D

Very low quality match :lol: Mirza BH won her 1st set and FH came through at the end.. Both struggled in the cold conditions..Anyways hope this year will be much more positive for the Indian :)
