Well done Elena, you are going better and better with every match. Next is Aravane Rezai. :p
Auckland QF: [1] E. Dementieva (RUS) def. [5] S. Peer (ISR) 6-3 6-1kaktusino Jan 7th, 2009, 11:57 PM Well done Elena, you are going better and better with every match. Next is Aravane Rezai. :p goldenlox Jan 8th, 2009, 12:00 AM Rezai is a strong girl who Lena can move around. This is good preparation for Melbourne pwayne Jan 8th, 2009, 12:18 AM Elena had Shahar 2nd serve for lunch once she got going. If Elena stays in current form, she may be the one to win her first Slam instead of Jelena. I know she is scheduled for Sydney next week to face the stiffer competition but Elena competes very well against them. MrsColinKaep Jan 8th, 2009, 12:31 AM As much as it pains me to say this, i think dementieva is going to be a threat at AO. i think she's going to suprise everyone this tournament. hope i'm wrong though. goldenlox Jan 8th, 2009, 12:36 AM If Lena wins this tournament, does she move up from #4? Anyone know? G1Player2 Jan 8th, 2009, 12:38 AM If Lena wins this tournament, does she move up from #4? Anyone know? So, Elena will get a Top 4 seed in Austrailia right? pwayne Jan 8th, 2009, 02:34 AM I want to say that Elena will be the 4 seed for AO no matter what Ana does this week. Svetlana. Jan 8th, 2009, 03:31 AM impressive game Lena! RJWCapriati Jan 8th, 2009, 05:20 AM Nice job Elena......she should love playing Rezai next match Sander. Jan 8th, 2009, 05:34 AM Nice job Elena:hug: Congratulations:yeah: azmad_88 Jan 8th, 2009, 06:07 AM good job!!! Josh. Jan 8th, 2009, 06:16 AM Elena :yeah: Iceland Jan 8th, 2009, 07:28 AM Sad for Shahar  Couldn't do much against Lena... I saw the first set, well, nothing really bad. Shahar was hitting the ball pretty well but it wasn't sparkling enough. Elena hit way harder and could put her into trouble pretty easily. This 2nd serve also is such a burden for her game, it gives too many opportunities to the opponent and since she is not very reactive, the point was lost since the very beginning  Good to see Elena in form though! Now another meeting with Aravane... InsideOut. Jan 8th, 2009, 07:34 AM At least Shahar is winning more games each time. 2 and 0 in AO last year 2 and 1 in Wimbly 3 and 1 this time. Should be 3 and 2 next time. :o jonny84 Jan 8th, 2009, 08:26 AM :yeah: Elena! ce Jan 8th, 2009, 10:40 AM peer is a joke Beny Jan 8th, 2009, 10:53 AM Keep it going ;) Zojirushi Jan 8th, 2009, 11:16 AM surprisingly easy score:eek: next up rezai Elwin.
