Well I watched the last 5 games of the match, which were all won by Rezai. She seems to be as erratic as ever, but to be honest, she didn't really have to do much to win those last 5 games. This was the first time I've seen Gallovits play and I don't know what to make of her. Her forehand is by far her best shot, very impressive when she takes a swing at it. But the backhand by contrast is very weak. At times, Rezai just had to hit it to the Gallovits backhand and the point was pretty much over. The serve also seems to be very imconsistant. Hardly any 1st serves in in those last 5 games and a few doubles (including one to end the match). Her attitude was also very poor. She seemed to just give up and not care towards the end. She rushed between serves, just wanting to get off court. I see a lot of room for improvement, but I doubt whether she has the motivation to do so  Maybe I'm being too critical, as I said this is the first time I've seen her play and it was only for 5 games! but I'm just telling it how i saw it.

Despite the very poor quality of the match, I'm really happy about this performance!!
She was dominating here, Gallovits didn't know what shot to use at all. Since the moment her coach told her to be more aggressive, she kept missing and missing! She can hit pretty winners though, it was just not her day. Her nice serve totally abandoned her on the top of that...
Aravane wasted too many occasions on this match, well, she didn't look really focused. She will have to be a bit more serious tomorrow... Congrats on making semies here!!!

Aravane should change her clothes colour, otherwise she will have terrible hot flushes :tape:

The level dropped significantly just when you started watching. Error prone before that, but there as a huge noticeable drop early-mid 2nd set.

I don't care how she is playing, she is actually winning!

Good job making the semi finals Aravane. Completely unexpected. But you still have to defend final points and 3 rd at the Aussie Open :( Do your best.

Aravane has certainly started the year well.

I saw her 2 years ago at the French Open. You could see on her day she could match a top player but she was so eratic.

allez aravane! She needed these wins to keep her in the top 100, and clearly even in erratic form had she kept playing last year and not had to have that surgery she could have hot messed her way back into the top 50.

Good for Aravane. Defending as many points as possible. Still think Elena will win the event though!

Aravane :D She always seems to play well early in the year. How about making it last more than one month this year? ;)
