How about editing the OP to include Sydney Droolv.:)

Actually maybe you can edit the OP to include Maria's results from each tournament as they are played

Is Madrid the only mandatory clay tournament? (besides RG)

I would prefer to see Rome than Estoril on the schedule

I'm glad shes playing Estoril defending her title hopefully. :D
Maria hasn't had much luck at the big tournaments this year. A few wins at these small ones and hopefully then a good showing in Madrid and RG.

So she's not playing Charleston?

It's good that she's playing the smaller tournaments now anyway, what with her being low on confidence and match-wins.

I know it's a bit early to be talking about the grasscourt season but does anyone think Maria should play Birmingham this year. She won her first senior WTA title at Birmingham in 2004 and it's a low ranking tournament so she can hopefully get some grasscourt practice.

Maria will play Birmingham and Eastbourne before Wimbledon, so atleast she's making an effort to improve on grass.

Maybe winning a few qualifying matches to get into the main draw would be good for her confidence. :)

Will Maria play any clay court tournaments after Wimbledon? It might be the only way she gets some wins in singles for awhile.

Maria has signed-up to play next:

Båstad

Stanford
Los Angeles

and then maybe Cincinnati, Toronto, New Haven (most likely qualifying in these) before US Open

Last clay tournament of the year.
If Igor was the reason of the WO then Maria should be fine.
She's getting back some form I guess and hopefully she can win a few next week.
