Fan Art: work in progress

Initial sketch--in charcoal--on the canvas.

Painting over the sketch with burnt sienna oil paint.
(Then I wait overnight for it to dry.)

Blocking in--this means I cover ever part of the canvas with paint. Broad strokes only, pretty much, just to cover the canvas and get an idea of the colors and composition.

End of blocking in. At this point, I've probably put in maybe six hours of painting. I'd guess I have about 34 more hours left before it's done. More to come...

I think Sveta prefers the caricatures done by that Russian... do you know which ones I mean?
You may want to look into getting that artist to do your logo.

well I made some wallpapers in the wallpaper section and a banner in the sveta family section, and some avatars but just found out how it all works so just starting
