TheBoiledEgg Oct 25th, 2008, 03:38 PM phew Ana :woohoo: :D :) :yeah: should have closed it out earlier though :o StZox Oct 25th, 2008, 03:38 PM Not a very good match, but Ana finally managed to win a close match. Good luck in the final! Miss Atomic Bomb Oct 25th, 2008, 03:38 PM Terrible performance from aga in the first set... Ana was annoying as hell in this match, especially in the third set shouting like a banshee and pumping her fist 10 times after winning any point. Elwin. Oct 25th, 2008, 03:39 PM Well done Ana :D not really a fan but i'm happy for her :) I'm not going to watch matches anymore with aga playing in it! She looked so pissed. It's not good for the wta to have such a girl playing. :weirdo: The Daviator Oct 25th, 2008, 03:40 PM Ana :D 4th final of the season :rocker: Now win the title :rocker2: Balltossovic Oct 25th, 2008, 03:40 PM Terrible performance from aga in the first set... Ana was annoying as hell in this match, especially in the third set shouting like a banshee and pumping her fist 10 times after winning any point. This coming from a Serena fan:tape::help: Ajde:armed: haha she won! Davodus Oct 25th, 2008, 03:40 PM Ana finally wins a close one, even with the mini choke and another final...at last wouldn't call this a good win in terms of how she played and the score, but its a positive FoxyliciousKhat Oct 25th, 2008, 03:40 PM WTG Ana!!! Should have served it out at 5/3 but... Ajde! Foxy Dexter Oct 25th, 2008, 03:40 PM Phew, boy that was exhausting. Really important that Ana managed to close it out in the end. A mix of some great play of old-Ana with some abysmal misses. My favourite point was that BH slice passing winner. Now good luck in the final against Bepa, please play like in the 1st set, cuz otherwise you don't stand much chance! I'm gutted for Aga, so close from a big win and it would boost her confidence too. :( Have fun in Doha! Marionated Oct 25th, 2008, 03:42 PM Good going, Ana. I like how Radwanska has improved her serve and is more aggressive with her groundstrokes. Her touch is also really nice. It's a shame she didn't get the final spot at the Yec. She deserved it more, if you ask me. Mikey. Oct 25th, 2008, 03:43 PM Ana made it hard for herself with those 2 double faults and errors when serving for the match at 5-3 in the 3rd set. :tape: But oh well, at least she won :D Vefci Y Oct 25th, 2008, 03:43 PM :crying2: anon57 Oct 25th, 2008, 03:44 PM Some good play from Ana mixed up with some poor play but at least she's won a close match:yeah: MarieC Oct 25th, 2008, 03:44 PM Excellent 1st set from Ana. She was aggressive and confident and looked awesome. Then the rest of the match was plain ugly. Her 1st serve percentage was only 50% for the match  Bepa is going to have a field day if she plays like that tomorrow. But good to see Ana back in a final for the first time since RG. Hopefully she can pull it off Optima Oct 25th, 2008, 03:44 PM Aga :smash: So close! ladny Oct 25th, 2008, 03:44 PM Surprisingly bad match with only few highlights. Good returns in the final stages produced by Ana. I hope Vera beats this overreacting, in-your-face fist-pumping, one-dimensional spoiled brat tomorrow. She's so lucky to be beautiful, otherwise should have one tenth of the fans that she has today. Aga, off to holiday and then some training with top 8:) Lucemferre Oct 25th, 2008, 03:46 PM Good going, Ana. I like how Radwanska has improved her serve and is more aggressive with her groundstrokes. Her touch is also really nice. It's a shame she didn't get the final spot at the Yec. She deserved it more, if you ask me. Nobody asked you. Serenita Oct 25th, 2008, 03:47 PM Ana rocks!!!! Renalicious Oct 25th, 2008, 03:47 PM This coming from a Serena fan:tape::help: Ajde:armed: haha she won! Oh puhlease! Serena's pumps comes across as inspiring and gritty while Ana's pumps come across as spoilt and annoying. :o With that being said it's good to see her playing better. :) Miss Atomic Bomb Oct 25th, 2008, 03:48 PM This coming from a Serena fan:tape::help: Ajde:armed: haha she won! \_/ <- empty care cup :) Viktymise Oct 25th, 2008, 03:49 PM Doubt Radwanska will ever get a better chance to beat Ivanovic. Not that it was much of a chance anyway considering Ivanovic controlled the whole thing, even serving poorly, and blowing very hot and cold off the ground. Marionated Oct 25th, 2008, 03:49 PM Nobody asked you. I know that. It's just a saying. :wavey:, bitch. Iluzionista Oct 25th, 2008, 03:49 PM Great match! Amazing points, but Ana could have reduced the no. of U.E. Both played great really, but Ana played better. It would have been unfair if Aga won. [My opinion, not asking you to judge my opinion] The line judges and the umpire :armed: Agata. Oct 25th, 2008, 03:50 PM Aga  She could've won it But even if she'd won her last service game, I'm pretty sure she'd lose the TB (bad record against the top players) Nice played from her after a few bad tournaments, but I feel she could've played much better anyway, maybe next time ;) The "good" thing about Aga losing is the fact that if she won she'd not propably win even 6 games against Vera, now it's not going to be her who meet Vera in the final  Balltossovic Oct 25th, 2008, 03:50 PM Oh puhlease! Serena's pumps comes across as inspiring and gritty while Ana's pumps come across as spoilt and annoying. :o With that being said it's good to see her playing better. :) Thay come accross like that to you because you are not her fan. Serena's come accross as bitchy to me because I am not her fan:shrug: \_/ <- empty care cup :) Took the time to respond though didn't you? meb Oct 25th, 2008, 03:52 PM Aga  This serve... But she still has time to develop FoxyliciousKhat Oct 25th, 2008, 03:55 PM Oh puhlease! Serena's pumps comes across as inspiring and gritty while Ana's pumps come across as spoilt and annoying. :o With that being said it's good to see her playing better. :) There is nothing wrong with EITHER player's fist pumping. People look for the most insignificant things if you ask me to make an issue about. Foxy Miss Atomic Bomb Oct 25th, 2008, 03:55 PM Took the time to respond though didn't you? Anything for you hun :wavey: Mikey. Serena's pumps comes across as inspiring and gritty while Ana's pumps come across as spoilt and annoying. :o With that being said it's good to see her playing better. :) :spit: Maybe Ana should should tilt her fist more to the right and it would come off as 'inspiring', a fist pump is a fist pump :weirdo: and how does a fist pump come across as 'spoilt'? :tape: Nice to see some passion and vigour on the court from Queen Ana I :hearts: FoxyliciousKhat Oct 25th, 2008, 03:57 PM Good going, Ana. I like how Radwanska has improved her serve and is more aggressive with her groundstrokes. Her touch is also really nice. It's a shame she didn't get the final spot at the Yec. She deserved it more, if you ask me. The more important question is more than who? Foxy Noctis Oct 25th, 2008, 03:59 PM Ana is back with yhe fist pumps Adje and stuff for sure lowdowndirty Oct 25th, 2008, 03:59 PM I think Ana's coaches need to drum in "be aggressive permanently" because when she ruthlessly wins the first set, she eases off and nearly always ends up in a tense situation. The coaches need to help her utilise her power game more consistently. She has always taken the worst possible pressure you can have in tennis and won the RG grand slam, so she shouldn't really feel pressure in these situations. Njay16 Oct 25th, 2008, 04:01 PM Nobody asked you. :worship::worship: Marionated Oct 25th, 2008, 04:01 PM The more important question is more than who? Foxy Well, as much as I like Vera, I think Agnieszka deserved it more. I know the slams aren't everything, but 2 consecutive 2nd round losses is pretty bad for a player that has qualified for the YEC, wheras Radwanska has been really solid at the slams this year. Adal Oct 25th, 2008, 04:03 PM Ana :worship: InsideOut. Oct 25th, 2008, 04:05 PM There is nothing wrong with EITHER player's fist pumping. People look for the most insignificant things if you ask me to make an issue about. Foxy :yeah: Exactly. Good rep for you. Don't try to make such a lot of fuss about players' on-court antics if it bothers you so much; just focus on the tennis. And actually...I love the fistpumps from players because if you can't see the ball in a stream, seeing the fistpump will tell you who won the point. Well done Ana! I couldn't watch the match today but I was happily surprised that you managed to win despite playing poorly (mark of a champion :yeah:) and won a tight match again. Good luck against Bepa tomorrow; serve better! Lucemferre Oct 25th, 2008, 04:06 PM I know that. It's just a saying. :wavey:, bitch. So classy :spit: LUXXXAS Oct 25th, 2008, 04:15 PM Aga wake up and improve this fuc**$T^#*& second serve because I don't want to watch this shit anymore next season :smash::rolleyes: Apoleb Oct 25th, 2008, 04:19 PM What a fugly match. Ana's volleyes are improving though.h Nikkiri Oct 25th, 2008, 04:30 PM Terrible performance from aga in the first set... Ana was annoying as hell in this match, especially in the third set shouting like a banshee and pumping her fist 10 times after winning any point. Ana's back :hearts: Vaidisova Ruled Oct 25th, 2008, 04:32 PM :yeah: Exactly. Good rep for you. Don't try to make such a lot of fuss about players' on-court antics if it bothers you so much; just focus on the tennis. And actually..! There was a thread where you said that you hate Sharapova because she grunts... Then just focus on the tennis Steff_forever Oct 25th, 2008, 04:37 PM pls Ana, get it done cleaner next time  mediocre level of play from both, but thrilling at the end  CONGRATS ANA & NOW TAKE THE TITLE !!!! Broken Racquet Oct 25th, 2008, 04:37 PM I was glad to see some good fight from Aga. Next year she will beat Ana. FoxyliciousKhat Oct 25th, 2008, 04:38 PM Well, as much as I like Vera, I think Agnieszka deserved it more. I know the slams aren't everything, but 2 consecutive 2nd round losses is pretty bad for a player that has qualified for the YEC, wheras Radwanska has been really solid at the slams this year. Might be true but Vera played better when it mattered while Aga did not. Aga has won 3 titles this year and made 3 finals but nothing recently, her. Bepa made six finals (not counting Linz) and lost to Maria, Serena, Jelena only Daniilidou (W/O) one could really question. I'd say not including the slams Bepa did well enough in my opinion. Foxy Iluzionista Oct 25th, 2008, 04:39 PM 6-4 vs top10 this year :bigclap: Hope it'll be 7-4 after tomorrow's final:cool: InsideOut. Oct 25th, 2008, 04:43 PM There was a thread where you said that you hate Sharapova because she grunts... Then just focus on the tennis The fave player and why? thread? ;) Read it again. I said I 'USED TO not like Sharapova because of her grunts' and that I am OK with her now. :) soul Oct 25th, 2008, 04:48 PM I think the most important thing for ANA tday was to WIN; IN ANY WAY.She camover a pyhschological three set loses and finally she can do beer now from now on wısh luck u ANA cn ireland Oct 25th, 2008, 04:51 PM Congrats Ana on reaching a final again:bounce:! Serenita Oct 25th, 2008, 04:54 PM Ana rocks!!!! delicatecutter Oct 25th, 2008, 04:56 PM Great job, Ana!!! :yeah: Best of luck on obtaining your 8th singles title tomorrow!! :) TDM Oct 25th, 2008, 05:02 PM Dunno about the rest of you, but as a fan of Ana, I'd rather have a fist pumping Ana who wins than a quiet Ana who loses cometz9 Oct 25th, 2008, 05:02 PM Good Job Ana :hearts: Defend your title :rocker: @danieln1 Oct 25th, 2008, 05:06 PM Ana should have won easier, but errors crept in... Now beat Vera and win one more title! MagicMilan Oct 25th, 2008, 05:06 PM Not a very good match by Ana but she's winning close ones once again :D Win it all girl ;) Can't wait for YEC  cowking Oct 25th, 2008, 05:09 PM :rocker: ajde Good win, harder than I thought. After that first I though it would be easy but Radwanska sure can fight! So does this mean Radwanska isn't in the YEC? mure Oct 25th, 2008, 05:10 PM Dunno about the rest of you, but as a fan of Ana, I'd rather have a fist pumping Ana who wins than a quiet Ana who loses wise words, absolutely agree! ivanban Oct 25th, 2008, 05:46 PM Dunno about the rest of you, but as a fan of Ana, I'd rather have a fist pumping Ana who wins than a quiet Ana who loses Proper options should be: would you like more Ana with mega excessive fist-pumps or Ana from beginning of her career? KoOlMaNsEaN Oct 25th, 2008, 06:11 PM :bounce: Ana :D Beny Oct 25th, 2008, 06:12 PM Aga wake up and improve this fuc**$T^#*& second serve because I don't want to watch this shit anymore next season :smash::rolleyes: Thanx to this 2nd serve she beat Sveta at AO and Cibulkova at Doha. Fortunately she stepped it up in the last couple of games with some nice shots off of her beautiful forehand and attacking the second serve. Aga put in a good effort today. She really gave Ana a lot of trouble with her nice shotmaking. If she can do something about her second serve, then she will have a better chance against the elite players like Ana. DownTheLine21 Oct 25th, 2008, 07:33 PM This was not a very pretty much, but I found it fascinating nonetheless. This was an important win for Ana after several three-set losses. However, she should have won it more easily and definitely needs to have a better serving day tomorrow. BuTtErFrEnA Oct 25th, 2008, 07:40 PM Ana's back :hearts: oh you know it  Wojtek Oct 25th, 2008, 08:01 PM Well done Ana :D not really a fan but i'm happy for her :) I'm not going to watch matches anymore with aga playing in it!
