That would be horrible to have a hardcourt in the middle of clay season.

I personally think IW should be grass (just so that there can be more grass court tournaments) or it can be left as hard, Miami should be green clay (to transition better from hard to clay), Madrid should be red clay, and China can be indoor carpet or indoor hard.

I think that Madrid is outdoor clay, and Beijing is outdoor hard, but I am not 100% sure.

china open will be in the Olympic tennis center Lotus Court, which is obviously hard court,

I think Madrid will be indoor and outdoor clay as the roofs can close.

The HK surface isn't Rebound Ace when AO played on it :shrug:
