I expected as much. Alize was ale to recover from a few weeks of terrible tennis, and Jie is terrible indoors.
But at least she has a real chance at the top 20 next year. Gogo!

After Beijing Zheng has absolutely sucked.
Tokyo lost to Pavlyuchenkova 6-1 6-2
Zurich qualies lost to ALG 6-2 6-3
now Linz lost to Cornet 6-3 6-2

:o And those aren't just any losses, but complete beatdowns. :help:

All 3 of those matches were indoors :shrug: That might have played a role :tape: although Jie must really really suck indoors if that were the case.
