These four are upcoming players with great potential and lot of similarities. Who will have more success?

Sabine Lisicki
Petra Kvitova
Marina Erakovic
Yanina Wickmayer

The one that can keep the ball in the most, thats the way our tour is going.

Yup. Summed up very well. Most matches are won not by who hits the most winners but by who makes the fewest unforced errors. I also am not sure where any of these 4 particular careers will go. All four have the capacity to be top 20 and perhaps top 10 but there are never any guarentees and any many talented careers have gone down the drain too. The player who has the most commitment, dedication and good coaching and is able to avoid serious injuries will in all likelihood also be the one who learns how best to win matches and therefore will be the most successful.

I think Lisicki and Wickmayer.
Both have big serves and very hard groundstrokes.

I think Petra or Sabine will have the most short term success, but I think Yanina will be the most successful down the road.

I think Sabine.. she is a great player.

Petra isn't stable enough, don't think thats gonna change.

Yanina is really strong mentally, and i like her game. then Sabine is a fighter, but she needs to be fitter to be a real threat.

Yanina :hehehe:

Sabine & Yanina have potential to become Top 20. Sabine is already a good player but I think she has to work on her serve. It's very inconsistent. But if it's working it's her best weapon ;)

Yanina and Sabine have great potential, but they are still inconstitent :D:worship:

I think Erakovic is going to go places. She has that kind of late-blooming game, and the fact that she had such a solid junior career with a game like that bodes well. Once she snaps out of this slump, I think she can push into the top 20 in the next two years.

But, in fairness, I don't think any of them are going to win slams for a while.

I really like Sabine and I wish her all the best, but I vote for Kvitova. She is very young, good, agressive player and I think that next year she may be in Top 30

Sabine she's got the money behind her

I'm jumping on Petra's bandwagon. Such a power.

she's like a worse version of Rezai

Marina Erakovic? Seriously?

Petra and Sabine :worship::worship::worship:

Wickmayer is ahead of Lisicki (for now).

It is strange seeing these old threads and seeing how few people saw Kvitova doing as well as she's done. Tbh, I really don't remember much hype about her atall before Wimbledon last year?

Yanina Wickmayer & Petra Kvitova i also add Kleybanova & Pavlyuchenkova in the mix them four look like they going be have success come soon which in kvitova i say even more success for the wimby champ, Sabine Lisicki love her game & and hope she stay injury free because she got a big game that could bring her to the top 10 and winning more title but i think the four i name going have more success so that be my top 5 in order

1. Petra Kvitova
2. Pavlyuchenkova
3. Yanina Wickmayer
4. Kleybanova
5. Lisicki
