Sofie :woohoo:

She is quite talented and its nice to see her at a WTA event. I can't believe she lost two games though. :(

Anne Priska needs to stop playing WTA qualifying full stop.

Winning against APS isn't really a big deal, but still, nice start for a first WTA-match. Sofie only lost 3 points in set 2, so that's a good achievement :-)

Keep hoing Sofie :yeah:

Well done Sofie

don't forget Sofie is only 16 years old and only started to play senior tournaments last summer. She only played 2 10K's and 2 25K's before this tournament. She lost the two games at the beginning of the match I think. I started following the score from 4-2 on and she didn't lose a game from then ... :)

Anne Priska Schaefer is a baggel girl so loosing 2 games is actually bad ;) Even Brie is better then her...

Her opponent is a bad player but hey, the kid is only 16, I'm sure it's a pretty exciting day for her to win a match on the WTA tour.

Konijntje, do you know when her Birthday is by coincidence?

second.

I hardly knew of her existence...exciting there's yet another Belgian player to follow.
Congrats, Sofia, for winning your very first match on the tour!
Nice combination of stats with Tammy winning her first pro tournament just now and is now playing her doubles final (after suitable rest I guess)! :) Both girls are 16. Congrats, girls!

I'm not Konijntje but her birthday is on the 4th February 1992. She is ranked 75 in the juniors and on the seniors has had several top 500 wins this year.
