I'm expecting Dokic in 3 sets aswell. :yeah:

I know it will be tough, but if she really wants this I'm sure she can tough it out. Martic is only 17 aswell, so she might even be a bit intimidated by the whole situation, especially if a large crowd shows up.

Wow, I'm not sure if it's a good or bad draw for Petra, depends on Dokic.
But very interesting! :bounce:

I don't want to rule out the possibility that at some point in the future Dokic might be able to make it back to at least to the top 100. But recently her form hasn't been good. Dokic has played 12 events this year. The first 7 were promising. She won two 25ks but more importantly of the five players to beat her 4 were top 50 standard players and the other one Greta Arn wasn't bad either. Also in that time frame she had solid wins oven quality players like Shvedova, Erakovic, Larcher De Brito, Meusburger and Kostanic. But in her last 5 events, Dokic has not beaten a player ranked in the top 250 and all four of her losses were to players ranked outside the top 200. Martic has a lot of talent, she is already top 200, has won 75k event this year and has been playing in indoor hard events for the last two weeks, taking Arvidsson to a tiebreaker in the 1st set last week. On current form I think Martic is very likely to win this match. Sorry Dokic fans. :shrug:

IMO, if Martic serve doesn't let her down, Dokic is without any chances to win this match...
Martic has great serve, maybe the best serve from all youngsters on the tour...
So....Martic in 2 or 3 sets...It doesn't matter....
Go Petra, Go:devil::devil:

You're just being honest :shrug:

The reality is, I don't think there is any player in this draw Jelena would be a favourite against, except maybe the WC's. No one knows what work she's put in the last 6 weeks, and whether any progress has been made.

It's also noteworthy that all those dreadful losses were on clay, inarguably Jelena's worst surface, and her most impressive wins where on the faster courts in Australia. I'm hopeful she'll adapt very well to the carpet in Linz, which is one of, if not the best surface for Jelena's game.

I'm just praying that Jelena has put in some good work over the last few weeks and she comes out playing some solid tennis. My main concern is not whether she wins or not, but that if she hasn't worked hard, she could be embarrassed by this girl and this could result in another long break from the courts.

IMPOSSIBLE

We don't know what form she's in....maybe a bit of time off after the tough losses has allowed her to relaxe and come back firing, the carpet will bode her game very well as its similar but faster to grass = many cheap points when u hit as hard as she does....and few players hit as hard as her
