Well,if no one objects, then I'd like to be Dinara's 'Communications Director'---which would be DIFFERENT from P.R. Manager.I'd be in charge of maintaining lines of communication between Dinara and friends & family while she's on Tour. Also, providing safe, responsible means for Dinara to have e-mail contact with fans on her website.

Lastly,I'd help arrange social dates for Dinara with potential suitors---of whom there'll be MANY as she leaps toward #1.I'd screen the pretty-boy cabrones from the stand-up fellows. We've seen how crucial this can be as a recent #1 has set about flushing her career down the toilet partly by chasing after every Spanish Guy Smiley on the planet.NOT that Dinara would necessarily be interested in ANY of these dudes, but a few ground rules would be:NO Andy Roddick,NO Radek Stepanek, and NONE of those effeminate-looking jotos on Spain's Davis Cup team...other precautionary suggestions will be welcomed.:) We don't want Dina to have ANY personal distractions when she hits the tennis court to take or,in the future, hold on to #1:yeah:

I was having a little think about ure role bruce. Dinara's virtual bodyguard? or potential suitor ball breaker and all that sort! U're role definitely suits you! No spanish guys i definitely agree! we should all pitch in with some dashing tennis players and then see bruce promptly turn them all down;)

No spanish guys i definitely agree! we should all pitch in with some dashing tennis players and then see bruce promptly turn them all down;):lol:I'd say that Dinara can protect herself okay but we don't want her breaking her hand while punching some loser playboy. We WILL accept handsome, boring Pete Sampras-types who won't distract Dinara from her tennis so much.;)

I used to work in the gringo prison system so I know how to handle myself when necessary...but our system is quite simple.Let's say that Verdasco, for example,is trying to make his move on Dinara.I pull him aside and politely, yet FIRMLY,tell him to find himself some floozy at a nightclub if he wants some company.IF he doesn't listen, then I'll get some Cholos from Juarez, who DON'T like conquistadores, and they'll "relocate" many of Fernando's teeth to new places where they haven't been before. We'll videotape this exercise and air it on YouTube as a deterrent to any other would-be slick talkers.

PersephoneDisco
Oct 8th, 2008, 09:18 PM
Bruce you crack me up! I was just gonna write in reply to 'effeminate spanish guys' - VERDASCO with his hair! Oh dear these cholos from Juarez seem rather well trained in methods of deterrence. I think men would be a distraction for now how about after she wins GS's and becomes no.1 or,how about after she retires (god knows when that will be) then bruce and all will be happy!

PersephoneDisco
Oct 8th, 2008, 10:02 PM
Oh dear, tim henmans younger brother or cousin, his teeth are awful. We'll have to ask questions likes 'hows your dental health?', 'any previous history of heart attacks? or 'does male baldness occur in ure family?' Well dinara liked studying so maybe a literature professor? thats sounds interesting enough for dinara!

I think i will go to the Madrid Open, so i think that we can give to dinara a birthday present, yeah maybe its no her birthday that day but Madrid Open its in May and her birthday is in April, so...

The present will travel around the world
because we have to writte with our hands  a message to her :)
I will print the reason why we love her :inlove:, and the present i dont know, give me some ideas :)

PersephoneDisco
Oct 12th, 2008, 12:28 PM
ooooooh! Pepi thats a wonderful idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its similar to the present idea the unoffical Mohamed Lahyani Appreciation society ( who i love and had a pic with at wimbly!) had!
How will it travel around the world? - i think that will be the tricky thing. Like we will have to make sure it goes around the world the easiest way possible. If not we can handwrite things and scan them onto the computer. Pepi the easiest idea is to write all the reasons why we love her cos they are so many!!!! cos marat likes necklaces maybe a necklace for her? make it lucky for her !

Everybody knows Marat is better than me but today I'm the winner," said Kunitsyn.
"It's terrific to win my first title in front of my home fans and I hope I would be able to defend it here next year."

Safin said: "I was chasing him all the time. I could not capitalise on my chances but he converted every time he had a chance and didn't make many mistakes.
"There's no surprise he won"- lol brutually honest

I think it may be a wait to see which one retires i think it depends on which one becomes married and then wants a family rather than more GSs first.Yeah, that's actually what I meant;I know they're in great shape but they have lots of interests outside tennis so their dedication sometimes wanes. They're enjoying adulthood a lot because they were raised in a weird religious cult where they weren't allowed to celebrate birthdays as one of many bizarre rules(yet they both have names of pagan goddesses:lol:)...NOW they have their freedom and chances to explore the world. As you hinted, when ONE of them wants to quit and start a family, the other will miss her sister and soon follow most likely.

Hah, bruce if any on the ana fanatics came here they would be like OH MY GOD stop with the doom and gloom!!!!!!!!! but wow she could not handle the pressure at all! Plus i hate her coaches..Well,I AM one of those fanatics, and I can tell you that even the most intense loyalists are past the point of denying that Ana has some sort of serious problem.I don't know the culture in Eastern Europe very well, but I almost suspected some sort of organized crime gambling influence.E.g.:"You better lose these matches or we'll kill your family.Don't even tell your coach that we spoke to you or your loved ones are dead!" There is NO historical precedent in women's OR men's tennis of such a talented,#1-caliber player losing so badly to such mediocre competition---even ITF 'lifer' Julie Coin.

A less extreme, more probable possibility is that Ana suffered some sort of personal trauma that has taken away ALL of her joy and motivation in the sport she USED to love.We can only speculate what it was,but there WAS SOMEthing that happened....Perhaps the suicide of a high-school friend...or she caught her dad cheating on her mom(OR vice versa)....It's Ana's private life so we have no right to know what it was,but OBVIOUSLY it was heavily impactful for it to have destroyed her mindset and poise. As I said, there is NO precedent for this except for cases like Capriati or Jaeger where there is drug abuse or psychological illness.I don't have any idea what kind of relationship Dinara and Ana had...whether it was cordial-but-distant,friendly,or hostile(the least likely of the 3)...but I CAN say that this WOULD'VE been a great rivalry.......and now it appears that a potential YEC meeting could be the last time they ever play.

Dinara is a few years older than you,so I could take a sideline seat at her matches...and then, when she's feeling frustrated, she could step off NOT for a COACHING break but a good Latino Muzzle Kiss break.Hopefully I could help her re-focus on her objectives with that as I sampled the taste of Dinara's lipstick.

As for Krajan-Dinara,I sort of doubt it because she's established such remarkable consistency under his coaching. If they were...you know...then that would really complicate things for Dinara especially and I don't think that she could focus so well. Then again, you couldn't be blamed for questioning 'What the hell do I know?'

but many female players husbands are their coaches..okay getting way ahead of myself As you say, usually it's HUSBAND and WIFE,not just bf/gf,and usually the female players who get married are older and ready for motherhood in case they get pregnant.Even so,there's only a very small percentage of hitched women on Tour...and even fewer moms, which is why Davenport and Bammer stand out so much. When you probe a bit deeper,it's harder to picture these 2 as a true couple...unless,of course, you're a horny young British gal with an extremely active imagination:lol:

It's the same here in the UAE for men and as a girl if you aren't married before 30 every body will be like "Why? You are beautiful, educated and from a good family" Then they go to "You should lower your standards" actually last week a teacher was speaking to me and she advised me not to refurse marrying somebody younger than me because every body does it now (her words) my translation (all men your age are already married):devil:Maybe it's time for you to switch to adult students, most of whom take classes because they WANT to,nOT because they have to....If you are beautiful like your friends say, then I have a little less sympathy for you;) since I KNOW that you'll eventually get a good offer IF you have a decent personality to match. Now a 32-year-old Amanmuradova would REALLY have my sympathy in her search for a husband:lol:

eek, teaching!
my parents are teachers and they always complain about their students! its only been half an hour since my mum told me she cracked the code of her hyperactive fidgety student! - trick was to give him positive attention...sighs

Teaching itself is really fun but you need students who are motivated and in my case students who speak English :) This is the problem, the ideal situation (Students have been learning English for 11 years before they reach Grade 12, so they are fluent in English and all what I have to do is teach them the text book) the real situation (Student have been learning English for 11 years but they have no sense of language at all, so I need to improve their level and finish the textbook in the same time frame i'm supposed to finish the textbook) not fun at all :help:
another thing that isn't fun is that you have to talk alot of work home

but still I made my sister go to the college of economics and business adminstration instead of being a teacher

Today,in the afternoon,I looked up from my couch and saw a fairly good-sized striped skunk,of standard coloration, walking furtively toward my bedroom door.It wasn't real, though, because I was dreaming while taking a nap on that very same couch(this is a common activity for old people like myself who didn't get enough sleep the night before).I woke up with my eyes trained on that precise spot of the sighting and,of course, the skunk wasn't there as there isn't ANY forested area at all near where I live.We DO have a few skunks in the foothills a few kilometers off,but they are of a different species and don't have that commonly-known black-and-white combination that many of you have seen.It might seem strange to some of you that I dreamed about a skunk but it's actually perfectly logical since I was thinking of skunks while awake earlier in the day.......:bounce:

If you'd LIKE,we could discuss how awesome Dinara's buns look in those baby-blue spandex jogging shorts. She could pass for a latina blanca if she spoke any Spanish with good pronunciation. There was a GUY in Makiri's thread who got angry with me for suggesting that Miss Kirilenko would be fun to spank(turns out he wanted to WEAR Makiri's dresses instead of admiring how she looked in them),but there was also a woman who voice her objections politely so I apologized and pledged not to do it there anymore. If any women HERE are offended by me,then I'll make a similar pledge. My last comment is that I'd like to see how high a coin would bounce if you dropped it on Dinara's buns:drool:....AT LEAST a couple inches:devil:

so she doesnt speak spanish with good pronounciation bruce? aww a tiny flaw in our perfect diamond in the form of dinara. Haha poor Makiri, weird fan there, i remember at wimbly this year i went to the practise courts and saw igor and Makiri and igor was doing all the work and makiri was just on the sidelines on her phone!

Is it wrong that im imagining her to object to the use of coins and instead crisp dollar notes

so she doesnt speak spanish with good pronounciation bruce? aww a tiny flaw in our perfect diamond in the form of dinara.Actually,I have no idea how well she speaks it;she might be fluent. My point was that she doesn't really look latina at all in the face due to her European features,so she'd have to fool them with excellent pronunciation.Mexicans from the north of the country are often very light-skinned,so she could pass for one if she spoke effectively enough....She DEFINITELY has the healthy buns of a chica latina:)

Just off the top of my head;),a tale told by a hidden camera:

Though I don't know every minute detail, the 'Aces For Homes' initiative seems like a nice one, helping out needy women without being overwrought with extreme feminism:) We can all agree that the Dinara Kissing Booth would be a big fundraiser, too,at the pre-tournament fan activity centers on tourney grounds.

.......However...in the evening...they'll have to wrap things up at some point and close off the area until the next day...At which point Dinara stays behind after getting a call on her cellphone from Mom.They chat for around 15 minutes as security clears out all the visitors and the place becomes virtually deserted...THEN,once Dinara and her mom finish chatting, she gets ready to leave when she sees a solitary female figure--let through by security--approaching the booth in the dim light. As the figure draws closer,Dinara recognizes that it's ANA!Dinara doesn't know how to react at first until she notices a sly grin on Ana's face as the lovely Serb gazes directly into her eyes...and Dinara replies in kind. They continue gazing intently at each other for a few moments as their grins widen...and then they each look around in all directions as if to be sure that nobody else is there. With both beauties confident of their relative solitude, they break into beaming smiles....and then Ana takes a couple steps closer to the booth AND........that's pro'bly too much already, huh?;)

Okay, here's one completely without any sensual overtones(some of you may know it):

A woman kept having the same visions every night...she was driving down a rural road when she lost control and crashed her car against a power pole...after being stunned for a few moments, she noticed the head-shaped indentation against her cracked windshield, then she drifted out of her car, seeking medical help.......

A few kms away she kept coming to the same well-built country house in her vision...where an old man with a frightened expression on his face looked out the window and then quickly tucked his head back inside before she could call out to him.......and then the scene just VANISHED from her mind.......

Finally, she resolved one night that she would NOT leave this image behind without speaking to the old man.As usual, she drifted out of the car and wandered to the house, but tHIS time she made her way to the front door and tapped politely, pleading with the old man to answer. She couldn't help noticing how beautifully designed the home was,as if a master architect had planned it for some sweet family. After about 2 minutes,he slowly opened the door---somewhat frightened but not terrified,as if he had steeled himself against the inevitable.

"I'm sorry to bother you, sir, but I keep seeing this house in my visions EVERY night, and I HAVe to know what's so special about it that would cause me to keep seeing it over and over."

The old man paused, slightly surprised at her unawareness but with a touch of sympathy also."This is a forsaken home....I'm all alone...Nobody comes here anymore."

"Not even your family? But WHY?....It's so beautiful....Why wouldn't anyone want to live here?It looks so perfect, even at night."

The old man replied slowly,"....Nobody comes here anymore.......because it's haunted."

":eek::eek:HAUNTED?....WHY?....Who would DO such a thing to you?"

The old man paused again,THIS time with unmistakable compassion in his eyes, and then he said:"It's haunted.......by YOU."

The End

Just a thought Dinara-holics,NOT a complaint:There's SO much creativity being shared in Dinara's fanship here that I feel we're slacking a bit by giving this thread the EXACT same name as the larger forum.Ultimately,it should probably be Pepi's decision on whether to change or not...but how about..."The INNER Domik...(as in the inner circle)" or "The Domik of THE Dinara Disciples."....anything which indicates that we are Dinara loyalists who aren't half-hearted about it.

Suppose it's safe to say that the Lord has the best eyes for judging beauty.Though I can't claim to be an expert,of course,I DID work in a frame shop a few years ago and most of our customers were pleased with my display recommendations for their artwork. One last lead-in comment:I'm NOT attracted by the kind of sleaziness you'd see in say,"Maxim";the ELEGANT,feminine look is MUCH more appealing to me.

With THAT said,I sincerely welcome your opinions,Dinara fans,on which set of quarterfinalists below is,collectively, more beautiful. In bracket order:

Portoroz:
Kirilenko
Errani
Wozniacki
Dushevina
Bovina

im gonna go for portoroz cos the women have the same sort of level of conventional beauty while in the other group youve got gorgeous ivanovic and pennetta and then bartoli and cornet....Thanks for the input,'P.D.':);I always like to hear what WOMEN think of their peers cuz so many guys have shallow, shortsighted approaches.Nadia offers a perfect example:When she's on the court, her hair is pulled back into a SUPER-tight ponytail that makes her head appear larger than it is...PLUS she rarely smiles on court.A lot of dudes look NO further and call her ugly.Though she's not drop-dead gorgeous, she IS quite pretty when she's relaxed and has her hair down...and her figure is PHENOMENALLY curvaceous:drool:.It's appropriate to mention Dinara's compatriot because our lovely Queen got a lot of the same negative hype in the past.

I'm not gonna pry,'P.D.'(still getting over the shame that I'm old enough to be your dad:o),but it's a fairly reliable statement that hot chicks are good judges on who ELSE is a hot chick;).I.e.,the fact that Dinara hangs out with Makiri and Vesnina certifies her as a true foxy lady:)
