this match was really close with only 1 break per set

lucie would have won if she didn't make so many errors long during the ralleys when she was returning

well Kaia is playing her best year i guess
She's a big talent and it's so good to see she finally shows it. Hopefully she keeps it up next year and makes top 25, maybe top 20 (with this tournament she should make top 30).

The case of Lucie is another problem. A total waste since she's a bigger talent again. I'm actually surprised she fought well here. Or maybe it was Kaia's injury. :shrug:

Not surprised that it was Safarova on the receiving end of the aces per match record. One of the very worst returners in the pro game.
