it all depends which Na shows up tomorrow. She has proved she can beat pretty much everybody this year and yet she is only ranked in the low 30s. If they both show up to play, it will be a great match. :bounce:

first loss: Wimbledon 2006 - not a good match, Nicole didn't play well.. she struggled on grass..

second loss: Gold Coast 2008 - Nicole injured her ankle..

Is it that difficult to spell "Stuttgart" right? :help:

It seems the answer to that unfortunately is "yes". There seem to have been quite few threads and posts over the last few days regarding that tournament in Stuggart (sic).

Na Li 2-6 6-2 6-0

Na will lose the first set spraying balls everywhere, it will probably only last about 25 minutes. Then she'll start playing better in the second set winning 7-5 or in a tiebreak. In the third set Nicole will get huffy and completely stop caring, practically letting Na bagel her.

There matches can be quite formulaic.

Li should win

She is bashing the ball more effective than Vaidisova these days.

haha...I'm sorry I spelled it wrong...I didn't know how so I looked in General messages and that was how the last post had spelled it, so I thought it was right. Kinda embarassing..sorry. Either way, GO NICOLE! :bounce:

It's going to be an error/winner fest whatever the eventuality, though you can bet that it'll be the Czech's errors and Li's more decisive play that will decide things.

Nicole's serve is a shadow of it's former self indoors nowadays

Who will win?

I would have to say Li def Vaidisova 3-6 6-1 6-2

Li has lost at the opening round twice 2 weeks in the row

at Tokyo lost to Kuznetsova and last week even she played at home country China she also lost to Schiavone

Li is not that consistent at the moment, but still she would probably prevail and win against Nicole
