View Full Version : AIG Japan Open 1R WWW: [6] Shahar Peer(ISR) vs. [WC] Kimiko Date Krumm(JPN)

Sep 27th, 2008, 08:10 PM
Kimiko is full of so much confidence lately, i think she can pull it off. After she gets in a few main draws and gets used to the new generation of tennis players, she could become something........again! I say Kimiko in 3 sets, but if she does it in 2 set, man she's gonna be roaring with even more confidence.

Peer in 2.

I hope i am wrong.

Sep 27th, 2008, 08:29 PM
I want Kimiko but Peer will win in straight

Sep 27th, 2008, 09:09 PM
I say Date in 2. Kind of a strange draw - Peer is slumping but then, therefore, hungry for wins - I think Date would have preferred a journeywoman or nobody. Date and Craybas play similarly...

Peer in 2. Would love to see Kimiko win though!

Sep 27th, 2008, 09:33 PM
Kimiko 7-6 6-3

Sep 27th, 2008, 11:52 PM
Date in 2 tight sets :bounce:

Sep 27th, 2008, 11:55 PM
No way Date wins this match!

But I like her

Sep 27th, 2008, 11:55 PM
Kimiko in 3 sets

Sep 27th, 2008, 11:58 PM
Perfect match for Kimiko to comeback with. Shahar has been absolutely dreadful lately. :sobbing: I think Kimiko can win in two tight sets. 7-5, 7-6

I love em both so I don't mind who wins.

I am not expecting Kimiko to win this match but I would so very much love to be wrong. There are times when being wrong is the best feeling in the world and this would be one of them.

Date in 3

Sep 28th, 2008, 01:26 AM
Please win Kimiko! I voted Date Krumm in 3.

Sep 28th, 2008, 01:42 AM

Kimiko in 2

Sep 28th, 2008, 06:28 AM
peer in 2.

Sep 28th, 2008, 07:08 AM
I hope Kimiko can win a main draw match.:)

Sep 28th, 2008, 07:12 AM
Against nearly every other player I'd be rooting for Date to win.
Although it's unlikely she can win this match. Sadly, Peer in current form is not better than e.g. Dellacqua, who was beaten by Kimiko two weeks ago.

Sep 28th, 2008, 08:50 AM
why are people saying date dosen't have a chance? peer's serve is a total mess right now, shes serving df's left right and centre. she lost to sturdy but unspectacular craybas last week. peer won't be able to hit date off the court like others could. i say kimiko is favourite in this match, not forgetting the crowd will be cheering kimiko on to the rafters.

i say kimiko in 2 sets.

Sep 28th, 2008, 09:19 AM
Pleeaassse win this match Kimiko, will be the best result of the year.

Sep 28th, 2008, 09:35 AM
Peer 63 60.

Sep 28th, 2008, 09:37 AM
My head says Peer, but I really hope Kimiko can do well.

Sep 28th, 2008, 10:04 AM
Not the best match for Kimiko's MD comeback.

But I say Kimiko can win. 7-6(9) 3-6 7-5!

Sep 28th, 2008, 10:22 AM
Peer fairly easily imo.

Sep 28th, 2008, 10:26 AM
I Don't see Why Kimiko can't win  she only lost to wozniak due to tough 3 setters

Just Do It
Sep 28th, 2008, 10:31 AM
I think Peer is winning this 2 and 2 or something like that. I voted Kimiko in 3 though.

Sep 28th, 2008, 11:22 AM
I think Peer 6-2 7-5... Love both, still hope I'm wrong ;)

Sep 28th, 2008, 11:32 AM
Date Krumm is nearly invincible in Japan and Peer is in the doldrums. Kimiko in three sets.

Sep 29th, 2008, 02:19 AM
