Well, they're off the pad.

Millions watched the live broadcast when the spacecraft, carrying three taikonauts (astronauts), blasted off from a northwest launch center at 9:10 p.m. Thursday.

"I was so nervous during the countdown and I thought I could hardly breathe," said 65-year-old Zhang Jizhong in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan province.

Foreign media closely follow successful landing of China's spacecraft Shenzhou-7

BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- Foreign media closely followed the successful landing of China's spacecraft Shenzhou-7 and the safe return of the three taikonauts on Sunday, and have given extensive reports on the event.

The CNN (Cable News Network) website said the spacewalk conducted by Chinese taikonaut Zhai Zhigang "paves the way for assembling a space station from two Shenzhou orbital modules, the next major goal of China's manned spaceflight program".

...but wait, just a darn minute...

Searching youtube, I found lift-off footage. Since GENH2 is French, and narrator has a French accent, (and television commentator is apparently speaking French...) I've got to assume that it's from a French Television station.

A UFO, shadowing China's manned spaceflight program---caught by French network TV??
