She fought off 4 or 5 mps. :worship:

The BP conversion was utterly pathetic though. Needs to improve on that.

Tough loss. She won some matches saving MP this year so sometimes you win those sometimes you lose. That being said, even if the game is here, mentally she's still a mess : a bagel in the first set and she finishes like that

I always think it's dangerous to win a set 6-0 when you're playing an opponent who is good or roughly your equal. It rarely works in your favour. I'm thinking back to old matches like Seles v Graf US Open 95, Seles v Sanchez french Open 98, Tauziat v Zvereva Eastbourne 99 .... whoever bagelled the other player lost. There are lots of matches like this. Better to breadstick your opponent, if you ask me.

I don´t get it. Serve to the outside, serve with kick, play high bouncing balls till Cibulkova is on the walls, follow your shots to the net or wait for mistakes, which happens when Cibulkova tries to take balls early. It´s not that difficult to play the dwarf from a tactical standpoint. If you get into a shootout with her you could end up losing, but Mauresmo has the perfect style to beat her easily like 6-0. I don´t get it.
