Apologize my ignorance as always. I don't follow football but why they're flags from pretty much all the countries in the stadium? Sth special being celebrated?

surprising. Kat DeLuna is known for her song "Whine Up" and she is a trained Opera singer. Guess she just had a bad night  I feel bad for her

Thanks Sally, now i guess why they had a Venezuelan flag in the court even tho in my country we never watch this "different" sport.

someone really needs to stop booking her for singing the national anthem. This one isn't quite as bad as yesterday but it's still terrible :help:

People should just sing it straight up without all the runs and stuff. It sounds ridiculous otherwise.

Exactly. Her singing pretty much sums up everything I hate about Mariah Carey and the likes. They're shouting too much, trying to show off 'look what I can do with my voice', never mind that it's terrible to listen to.

I beg to differ, if the person can sing they should be free to sing the song how they like but if they don't have the talent or the arrangement ability to make the song their own it should be sung as is.

When it's done right it's beautiful, but when someone can barely sing then it sucks.

That's like telling Ray Charles he should sing the national anthem as is or America the beautiful.... :o

This worst part about this is when I was in Europe she did a live show and she actually isnt a bad singer but that shit that she did in the video is HORRIBLE.

There's a big difference between trying something different and failing miserably and trying something different and being Ray Charles. :hearts:

Well that's my point isn't it? You can't say people should sing the song as is because some people fail in their attempts to be original or else we would've never gotten a Ray chales version or a Marvin Gaye version.

That's true. But what she was doing wasn't anything new anyway. Lots of people sing it like that. And actually hit real notes. :help:

Oh.
That was it? I was expecting the whole last part to be off key or something. Really, expecting worse, it wasn't that bad. Some of her runs had gone off terribly, but I don't think she's too bad of a singer, just was extremely nervous and off her mark that night.

But no, she shouldn't sing the anthem again.

I normally can't watch people being humiliated in anyway... but went ahead and watched it.

:speakles: .... :spit:

She really did murder the song. It wasn't a swift death either.... she tortured it, abused it, poked at it fr a while, then drowned it. Then revived it and did it all again.

I didn't know if it would end. She'd pause for a while, the crowd applauded in relief... then she carried on .

Hope she recovers though.

Kat Deluna. "Singer" from NYC. She "sang" the summer hit Whine Up with Elephant Man.
I'm just going to go on a little tangent for Elephant Man.
He's called elephant man because supposedly he has the dick of an elephant.

Now I hope that is true because he looks like shit in the face and honestly he's not that good of a reggae artist.
But if he does have the dick as he say he does. I would get on my knees without hesitation.
Sometimes it's not about looks or personality. It's just about the dick and I'm willing to admit that.

Now the reason i put Kat Deluna singing in quotes is because the bitch can't sing.
She played herself last night.
The sad thing is she sang better than i thought she had the capability of singing.

She tried to be black though. And people could see that.
It was a fucking hot mess. Stanzas being put here and there. Breaths where there should never be.
I saw Jennifer Hudson make a mess of the Star Spangle Banner but this shit takes the cake.

All Jennifer was trying to do was add a little flavor, this bitch was trying to be something she's not.
The funniest part was when she tried to hit that major note in harmonic above the high F at the end of the star spangle banner and she couldn't get there so she tried to come back down and she got stuck. :haha:
She didn't know what to do.

Someone like Christina Aguilera would have bullshyted her way out of that predicament but not Kat Deluna.
She doesn't have the talent to do so.

Did you see the philly girl that won America's Got Talent the first season?
Philly was the reason she even won that million dollars.

We don't know what talent is here.
We might even have like that :bs:.

I love it. The girl knew she wasn't going to make those high notes, so she went with Plan B.

Beyonce has up to plan M.
I don't think she ever sings a song the same way.

Children, this is what happens when you don't remember to turn on your ProTools set before the show.
