DELTONA, Fla. -An angry Deltona father whacked his teenage daughter's boyfriend with a metal pipe after finding the boy naked in his daughter's room. Authorities say the father, 45, didn't even know his daughter had a boyfriend or that the youngster had been sneaking into the home for more than a year.
When he heard noises coming from his daughter's bedroom Thursday morning and saw a stranger standing naked on the girl's bed, he swung a metal pipe. He then chased the teen out the front door and called police.
The boy was taken to the hospital where doctors closed a head wound with staples.
The father was charged with aggravated battery on a child and bonded out on $10,000.

this thread aint worth jack without pics of an old man running out with a pipe.

but i dont think they could have charged him, the boy was trespassing and he didnt know it was a minor.

That's what I was thinking, Wiggly. That should totally be thrown out. He hears noises from the bedroom, walks in and see a naked man in his daughter's room, and attacks him. He could easily say that he believed that this intruder was attempting to rape his daughter. If he didn't know that she had a boyfriend, how the heck could he be expected to held responsible for knocking the crap out of some naked man in his house. I would have done the same thing!

If it were anywhere else I'd say yes, but this is Florida. The state where intruders can come into your home and when you beat their asses , they turn around sue you and win  :help:

how old are you saying he was?

I'm 18 now, and my dad is 47... so my dad would have been 45 when I was 16. It's possible.

I know a 45-year-old guy with a 30-year-old daughter. It happens.

that's irrelevant: to mummies and daddies, daughters are always babies, whatever their age is :D

It's assault I guess. ;) I was mystified at first as well. But it's not like he didn't have permission to be in the house by someone.

Yeah true. He should have just ordered him out or called the police to have him removed.
