OMG it looks massive. Its supposedky bigger than Katrina  and it will be a Cat 3 Hurricane by the time it makes landfall with water surge over 30 ft in some areas. :scared: . I am never going to complain about the snowstorms in the New England area anymore.

We got high winds today, and possibly some tornadoes (small tornadoes quite obviously hit my neighborhood during Gustav--a couple of houses got smashed). The city about seven miles from me is flooded; another town, four miles from me, is flooded really badly. And the city 30 miles from me has very bad floods. Our power went out this morning, and a big tree fell in our street. Winds may have gusted up to 50 mph. But I think that's about it for us. Western Louisiana, however, is expected to have worse surges than during Rita, and those were horrible.
