Just browsing the WTA site as usual. Noticed that Serena needs just $393,953 to surpass Lindsay's career prize money record. I guess that will happen later this year....would be harder NOT to beat the record if she doesn't pull out of any more tournaments.

I would like Lindsay to remain number one for more time... but I think Serena will prevent that, but she deserves it

She will pass Lindsay after the YEC for sure, in case she doesn't play any tournament before.

Lindsay is due to play Luxembourg and hopefully some other indoor tournaments. I hope she can hold Serena off until next year at least.

I think Lindsay has more to hold on to career-wise than just that. You give her so little credit.

I'm perfectly aware of what Lindsay has done in her career and I'm proud of her for it. I just liked this record aswell, but it's a meaningless one that was always going to be broken some day. ;)
