I know someone who has quite a lot of piercings, but I don't know if he has 'that' piercing... (I think I'd be a little embarrassed to ask him too ;) )

If you do decide to have the piercing, matthias, good luck (not that you need luck of course!) (I am such a baby I didn't like having my ears pierced... ).

I think you meant Queen Victoria whose husband Prince Albert I believe the piercing is named after.

Elizabeth I never married.

That's the one through the glans right?

The thing I always wondered is if you take it out (say to go through metal detectors at the airport) does the glans heal up really fast. I'd hate to think it would be painful to put it back in!

Anyway I'd be scared too if I wanted to get one! Do they give you a local anaesthetic? That would be best!

Unfortunately - or is that fortunately  - genital piercings weren't on the syllabus for my history classes at school.

So I don't know any more and I'm not 100% sure it is the same Prince Albert but I am pretty sure.

lol some of your old History teachers would be so proud of the knowledge in this thread!! hahaha  :p

Prince Albert was indeed married to Queen Victoria during the 1800's in England. And the piercing is named after him!! ;)

For anyone who is not sure exactly what a 'Prince Albert' piercing is...let's just say....Wikipedia is your friend!! haha

From what I have read, men in general during the Victorian times used to have this piercing done for erm..........'modesty reasons' or so they said!! (Really it's well known that Victorian were a sex obsessed lot and they probably did have it done for sexual reasons....lol remember...Victoria and Albert had 9 children together ;) ) There is also a rumour that Albert actually had a very big one ( ) and that he used to hang a small weight from the piercing, so that his 'large package' would not be visible, and his trousers would stay nice and flat!! (Yeah...like he got no sexual kick from the weight either hahaha :hehehe:)

lol....ok, hope you all remember that for future reference..I'll be testing you all on the subject at the end of term!! hahahha :p  ;)

hmmmm...I wonder how many people would have found history more interesting in school if these were the sort of subects covered!! haha

I've seen one. The only take I have is: don't do it if it doesn't match your overall vibe, because it makes you seem desperate or attention-whoring, in a pathetic way. But if it matches the way you come off already, then it's fine.

Imagine if it gets stuck in the zipper or something.

TBH, I don't think it's that bad. I don't wanna get technical but don't they pierce the thin bit of skin and the base of the ... er.. urethra ending. It's not like piercing through the ... um.. meatier regions. I dunno though, certainly won't be having it done... now anyway.

well, some people told me i should get cut before i do it

if circumcision is recommended before you do it, then don't get the PA - leave your dick intact...circumcision at an older age is a lot more painful and has greater potential for complications...plus, uncut is better anyway.

i had a friend years ago who got a PA, but usually the guys with them are creepy leather daddies or bears - both of whom frighten me. so, personally, i find PAs a big turn off. but hey, if you like it...

One my friend's in high school had one... he did it to himself. :tape::banghead::timebomb:

He said it's like a tattoo, you can't have any doubts going into it. If you're the least bit unsure about it, it could hurt like all hell. Plus you have to be very careful to make sure it doesn't go septic. :tape:

Okay, somebody who actualy has a Prince Albert finally needed to save this question and give a real answer.

I am a happily married, heterosexual man, father of 2, with a wonderful and sexy wife. 3 years ago, my wife pierced her nipples as a Christmas present to me. I know it was very painful for her, but she was very happy she did it, and it is very sexy for both of us. Ever since, I had been considering a Prince Albert.

This year, I got the piercing done right before Valentine's Day. It was a complete surprise to my wife when I came home and showed it to her.

It was not very painful at all. It healed extremely quickly. And I have never regretted it for a minute.

As for experience, well, honestly, it does nothing for me sexually. But it does give me a little ego boost because I know how much it turns my wife on. As for her experience, well let's just say, it drives her wild. She absolutely loves it. She couldn't leave it alone. WE wound up having sex after only three days (using condoms to keep the piercing clean). And although my piercer said it may not feel comfortable to have sex for as much as 4 weeks, I was fine with it, except initial insertion was a little uncomfortable.

I have had it now for 9 months, and I would never even consider taking it out. But the nice thing is that is always an option with a piercing.

I highly recommend it. My wife thinks it is the sexiest thing in the world, and after 15 years of marriage, she thinks my penis is like a new favorite play toy. And when she tells her friends about it, they are both jealous and intrigued. Several of them are trying to talk their husbands into doing it. And that's another ego boost. To know that all these other women are jealous of my wife because of my penis.

So, in short, it didn't hurt; it healed fast; you do not have to be circumsized to do it, although it will stay cleaner and heal faster if you are; it does add to sexual satisfaction for women; it does give you a nice ego boost to know that the family jewels have some jewlery of their own. I would say, do it. And don't look back. I sincerely doubt you will regret it.

And for the gentleman whose boyfriend had one, I find that curious, because my wife enjoys anal sex, and she absolutely loved the extra sensation she got from the piercing during anal intercourse.

Maybe he just didn't do a good job of keeping it clean. The jewelry and the area around it will tend to accumulate small amounts of urine and smell bad if you don't keep it clean, and that could be a big turn-off. But it doesn't take much to keep it nice and clean.

So you've made an account on a tennis forum, and your first post is a lengthy one about the pros of a Prince Albert piercing.

Right. ;/

Somebody had to do it. I stumbled on this thread and this forum completely by accident when searching for recommendations on a Prince Albert's wand - a special type of jewelry for Prince Albert piercings. But after I read the thread, I was aghast that there were 3 pages of responses that did absolute nothing to help answer this poor guy's question.

The original poster asked specifically for answers from someone who actually has had a Prince Albert piercing. What he got was 3 pages of responses from people who do not have one - but seem to have far too strong an opinion on why he should not get one.

So frankly, I couldn't not post on the thread. Trust me. I had no interest in posting on a Tennis Forum, but I hate to see closed-minded people talk someone out of something potentially exciting with misinformation and uninformed opinions.

So, yes. I joined a Tennis forum just to answer this one question about a Prince Albert piercing. Is that so terrible?
