Do you people have stress.?
I'm just curious if other people have it, and i don't mean normal stress, but like STRESS FOR EVERYTHING, STRESS FOR UNKNOWN THINGS, SO STRESSED THAT YOU CAN'T SLEEP AND YOU'RE ONLY THINKING ABOUT WHAT CAUSES THE STRESS!

In my case it's so bad that i actually have pills for it :o
It actually is ruining my life i say. It prefends me from a normal life.
Tomorrow my new internship starts and i'm so nervous/stressed for it. I'm really going paranoide and i feel like throwing up.

what do you people do against stress? What are your experiences on stress?

Stress is usually caused by lowered stress chemicals in your body, such as cortisol. I take 30 mg of hydrocortisone cream a day by mouth. All my anxiety dissapeared now after doing that.

I suffer of general anxiety at my side and a few years ago I had time by time panic attacks.

If it was that easy, such comments come from people who don't know what people prone to stress, anxiety must endure...

He asked a question, I answered. Didn't accuse, make assumptions or anything else like that.

If you have serious problems then this forum is not the right place to get answers.

If you don't have serious problems then I'd suggest a healthy dose of perspective.

Though from what I'm told that only adds to the guilt for true anxiety and panic disorder sufferers so once again, I refer you to my first sentence.

Take hydrocortisone  It will stop the anxiety.
2 words of caution re. that:

1) Its a steroid that will show up on a drug test (sports or employment) for X period of time depending how much one is taking.

2) Taking enough habitually will prevent your adrenal glands from making it themselves and they eventually won't be able to adequately.

See, he asked a question. I answered.

He's not looking for psychological help on a tennis forum, he'd be pretty stupid if he were doing that.

Very wise. But my adrenal glands weren't making enough already, and that's why I have to supplement with hydrocortisone until my adrenal glands are strong enough to produce it on their own.

But it may not be the case for her, so, good point.

And it's sad that people are just suggesting quick-fix meds for problems like anxiety. Okay, I admit sometimes it can be a chemical/physiological problem, but imo it's important to try and sort out these types of problems on your own before running for meds

I am having a very stressful time lately because of tests, applications to schools and stuff, so yeah.

Work your cardiovascular system. It makes a HUGE difference. Go swimming or running every other day.

Maybe you could learn how to meditate or some breathing techniques or something!?

Otherwise preoccupy yourself with very enjoyable and relaxing things. Take as much time as possible each day to just chill out.
