Man City have been bought out by a company with wealth about 10 times that of Abramovich. :rolls:

And now they are trying to buy Berbatov, Villa and Gomez. :rolls:

As a City fan, I have this kind of dream before, then woken up.

Lets hope I wont have that “Oh sh*t its just a dream, City arent really the richest club in the world, Julie Halard didnt win Wimbledon, and I didnt really have a threesome with Zhang Ziyi and Brittany Murphy” kind of feeling.

Looks like Berbatov has gone to Man Utd; there are pictures on Sky Sports News of him at Man Utd headquarters seemingly finalising a deal.

anyone else think this "new abramovic" is a bit worrying for football? Very dangerous situation and is only going to inflate prices more.

No its a wonderful wonderful thing for spectacularly long suffering Man City fans like me.

Robinho is a better player than Berbatov.

I cant deny you that :) , and Im happy he didnt go to chelsea, but still... The gaps are just getting too big, compare stokes signings to those of man city or Man utd.

It's a done deal. Wow. Robinho is a Man City player. I mean... WOW.

Ironically, his 1st game would be against.... wait for it... CHELSEA. Now, that's really interesting!

But I think the big 4 are now on the verge of becoming the big 5. Plus ultra-rich people are sniffing round Newcastle too, which would make it 6!

The top 4 have been too set in recent years, nearly automatic. It probably wont change this season, but next season, the likes of City and Newcastle could be in with a chance.

No, he went to the real Manchester club, not Salford United.;)

Attacking wise its looking positive...£19 million Brazillian striker Jo, with Robinho playing off him, Petrov on one wing, Shaun Wright Phillips on the other...

I know :sobbing: I'm scared that all this money will push Arsenal out of the top three :sobbing:

But they did really well last year for the first half of the season. Maybe this year they can do it for the full season.

We have lost Flamini and loads of other players are not replaced them.

If Fabregas gets injured, we are royally screwed.

Tell me about it :sobbing: But I thought the same last season, and we exceeded expectations (until the Birmingham meltdown *wails*) but yeah, I'm not hopeful at all this season.

Anyway, the last day of the transfer window was crazy. City now having their own sugar daddy :o I can't believe Robhino will be happy going to City :o but then again, money talks ;)
