I always find it really hard to separate what I want to happen from what I logically think is going to happen. My dream result would be a Williams sister sweep, perhaps the Murrays in doubles and Djokovic. HOWEVER...after thinking long and hard and advising a friend on who to bet on :confused: I actually have a feeling Serena will produce her best once again. it sounds like she's been really training hard and she is one of those players who doesn't mess about. If she thinks she's prepared well, she WILL play well. Nadal will lift his level a little and will probably take the gold and I can't decide on doubles...perhaps outsiders for the mens and I'm thinking an Australian gold, Stubbs and Stosur...don't ask me why.

These are my picks. There is, obviously, an element of what I would like in there, but I've tried to be as objective as possible (note, the only thing I actually care about, Vivi/Anabel getting a medal, is not happening in my predictions!! ;))
