She might have a chance to get a direct entry into US Open.

When a rank underdog scores one or two wins there is always, rightly or wrongly, a liggering feeling that quite possibly it was the result of their opponent(s) playing crap, particularly amongst those who did not see the match and as most matches aren't televised this is normally the vast majority of people. But when a rank underdog scores three very good wins in a row then it is time to acknowledge, hey they must be playing some fine tennis.

Hey, Andreja Klepac must be playing some fine tennis. Well done. :yeah:

Klepac is really the surprise of the tournament. Its a shame because it was good chance for Kvitova to make the semi-final here and possibly the final.

Perhaps she tanked so she could play qualies in Stanford...I hope so anyway. :o

No, she is not on the list for Stanford.

But if she was on the list for the qualies in Stanford and she turned down the chance to get into her 1st ever WTA semi in order to fly from Hungary all the way to California to play a qualifying match on a completely different surface the next day with no time to prepare and thus a very good chance of not successfully qualifying I would say she was the most insane player of all time.

Thankfully that is not the case and it would seem she just got beat by a girl who got very hot this week. It happens.

Kvitova had a set point while serving for the set at 5-4, but she missed it ...

We'll see what happened in this match when it gets uploaded tomorrow. ;)

She was on the list for Stanford before, I guess she must have withdrawn.

Beat down in the second set :D

The funniest thing is that people still don't want to admit that she's quite a good tennis player :rolls: They'll just have to deal with it
