Guess its safe to say Agnes is DEFINATELY feeling the pressure this year(contrary to that of her simpily being
overrated/over hyped)

A disappointing loss for Szavay:sad:.

Definitely needs to become more consistent to enter and stay in the top 10, which i'm sure she will!

I am not so sure anymore. I am afraid she may be drifting further and further away from Top 10.

No amount of pressure can account for such a performance. She is not a rookie on the WTA curcuit after all.

Oh dear. Her Palermo ranking points will come off and she hasn't defended any points. Szavay needs to get herself together as she has a lot to defend (New Haven RU and US Open QF); looks worrying for Agnes.

So now the home crowd can concentrate on the remaining Hungarian and push her to her 2nd trophy on WTA level. ;)

Come on people, just chilll out. The hardest part of having a breakthrough year is being able to stay at the top level the following season. It's happened before and it will happen again. She's adapting to the idea of being a top notch player, and that's not something easy to do unless you're a Hingis, a Williams, or any of that kind. She's clearly not, so let's just give her some time to adjust her game.

Agi, bring your form to hardcourts, lots to defend in the coming months.

Ouch. Agnes: :tape: That is not what a future top 10 or a potential champion would do in this situation.

We're entering WTF :( territory, and at a time when she should be gaining momentum to defend points. Not a good look.

Dylan, you kill me. Only a bet could be at stake for such an extreme, hilarious response. This match wasn't exactly Nadal def. Federer.

Ági said in her post-match interview that the pressure on her was 10 times bigger than in Wimbledon (!) because of the local crowd who all cheered for her and whom she didn't want to dissapoint :) she is yet to learn how to cope with this type of mental pressure. and i hope she will, otherwise... :(
