View Full Version : Lucie Is Playing Budapest For Some Reason, Let's Cheer For Her

I'm not sure why she is playing Budapest and not taking a break and working on her game and/or fitness, but while she is there we should support her anyway. She should be playing in about 30 minutes or so.

[5] Lucie Safarova vs. Kira Nagy
Anna-Lena Groenefeld vs. [WC] Palma Kiraly
Viktoriya Kutuzova vs. Magdalena Rybarikova
[2] Alizé Cornet vs. Bye

I expect she will become the first well-known player to lose to Groenefeld in her comeback, but I hope not. She better get past Nagy, at least. Good luck Lucie.

9 aces, isn't this on clay? Won around 60% of points, very comfortable win. :)

Good going, now please, please keep it up!

I miss not seeing her in action. Such a talent. :(

Good job Lucie! I have no idea why she is playing Budapest though. I don't know if it is the smartest decision.

Good luck against Groenefeld. It'd be a real shame for Lucie to lose to her.

If she can get by Groenefeld, which is by all means a big *if*, she would have Cornet in the next round, and you and I especially should know how good Alize is on clay.

Nothing else to say besides it's most certainly time for some challengers now.
