nice point from alize even if she lost that match, we can see how hard she fought despite her apparent tiredness.She was leading by 2 break in that second set and then collapsed but it was a tight match.Alize wasnt that lucide cause she was playing too often on the best wozniacki shot ; her backhand.Her weakest is the forehand or the direction changes.She's tall so that tactic may pay.But great tournament from alize.
I hope she'll work hard on her fitness and technique to spend less energie and time on the court.

I remember I was watching on the second day of it, the 3rd set.. it was so tense! O was so happy Alize won, and in front of the home crowd :)

Yes she was so tense in that match whereas she put a 6-0 to dulko in that first set, she was controling every rally, dulko was no problem and then she perhaps realized that she was at roland garros,in front of her homecrowd and she began to watch the opponent instead of going on ,focus to play her own game.
Alize will have to work on that to just stay in her own bull,not get out of it for the entire match.
Against radwanska it was the same scenario,she began very strong and then collapsed.
I hope she will learn from that.Those matchs were so tense to watch!

yes french medias can put so much pressure,its just horrible.:( i think alize must protect herself from the medias and only focus on her game,her side of the court.
Against radwanska she was 4-1 in the first and had a game ball to make 5-5 in the second set. She could have won that match imo.
The fact is that she seems to have accepted that radwanska was better than her in that match and finally accept too easily to have lost it.
I hope for her to make roland garros her home and defend it from the others who want to take her out of it.
Its not easy for sure but she has the game to go further there.

wellalize tanked this last game seems like she gave up the match so no real interest there:o

but well listening to dinara interview about alize I found her a little bit cocky,arrogant towards her so I didnt find her that sympathic here.
Alize is still young but she can play very well and in that match she didnt.
Their second match in sydney was more tight and alize was leading in both sets.

still very positive alize who answered about the fact she didnt play the best match of the year but for a first round,that s correct.
She knows she had many problems with her serve,did many df,she explained that she couldnt hit the ball freely,she was worried so after its double fault.She knows she really has to play better in next round and work on some details of her game.
She saw that australians are very nice towards her and she was very pleased about that great atmosphere in Australia.
