One of the cases for Eastbourne is that her fans would want to see her play there, but seeing a few posts I wonder would her fans prefer her to play in Rosmalen for the points and miss out on seeing her play?

If I was here, I would play Rosmalen. Yes she could play at home but chances are she will get a brutal draw. Anne is the first to admit grass isnt her surface, so she should go to Holland and try and get a win, to get some more points in the bag. But I think she will play Eastbourne :p

Good Question :p
Well Eastbourne is obvious because of the home crowd and one week before Wimbledon, but she has a much better chance of getting a decent draw at Rosmalen.
Im pretty sure she would play Eastbourne but I can see her doing better in Holland

No way, except the $$$ WCs, Rosmalen Qualies have :bolt: players, and the Main Draw aswell!

why havent you voted :p

Because it's a hard decision. :p

I've gone with the selfish point of view of wanting to watch her play.

I'd say Rosmalen. Deffo. I do think she struggles with the pressure of playing in england a bit.

I think its a direct entry to a WTA tournament you win once you have won a ITF title

Saying that :p, I think with all the media attention Anne has been getting for the Wimbledon DA, she will be pressurised into playing Eastbourne in front of fans

Patch is right but I think it's only 50k+ that you get feed ups into main draws.

I think Anne should go to Rosmalen. It will give her the chance to play away from the UK on grass without having all the pressure. Plus I doubt that Rosmalen is as windy as Eastbourne and even though there are more ranking points and prize money on offer in Eastbourne, she is more likely to get a win in Rosmalen and then it will also free up another wildcard for Eastbourne :)

Anne accepted the feed up, so has kept her options open

I hope she plays Rosmalen. Shes won that feed up herself so would feel more comfortable there. She'll be out of the pressure cookers that is UK during he grass season and shes more likley to get a win. A win in both brum and rosmalen would make her stable in the top 100 and get her feeling goof before wimbledon.

No contest this year. :p

From Ask Anne:

We missed you at Eastbourne last year! Do you think you'll play there in 2009 and are you happy that it's going to be a mixed event this year?
From: Jimmy

I’m hoping to be there in Eastbourne this year and I think it’ll work well with it being a mixed event this year. I think tournaments are better when there are both men and women competing at the same time.
