I take studies with lots of grains of salt - lots! That said, the few studies done on surface-injuries claim that clay has the least amount of injuries.

Vika got injured in singles, so that was no surprise.

ATP is all fixed anyway.

I would have been PISSED to pay all that money to see the mens' semifinals being played and in both there were retirements!

I thought clay court doesn't cause any injuries.

this had nothing to with the surface

Sexy was feeling sick.

the Rome fans still had a Blackrock Legends event to see, and it was start of Womens qualies, otherwise it would have been a completed 50 mins of singles action :tape:

Any news out about if Vika can play in Rome? (IF she dare to see the draw?)

1. This entire forum seems to be a big fan of (I assume you mean) Stepanek. I'm simply ascribing to the principle "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em."

2. I'm not the one who referred to him as "Sexy."

3. As a fellow officer in the Ugly Motherfucker Society, I can only salute and applaud Brother Radek's accomplishments in l'arena d'amour. I'd like to think that, in some small way, his conquests in the boudoir are victories for his uber-homely brethren everywhere.

I hope that sexy and pansy don't show up next week somewhere and expect the fans to be supportive!
