So difficult to say. I wish the winner won the tournament.

Elena in three I think. Apparently JJ was not so good vs Kirilenko.

Jelena unfortunately, straight sets. She's too solid on clay for Dementieva, and she knows Elena's game well now, as she even said after her match today. Ithink Elena will do better though than their previous meetings, says 6-4 6-3

JJ in 2. But i'm happy whoever wins:D.

I really hope Jelena cuz it looks like it's pretty much impossible for Serena to be top 4 seed at RG and I really want Venus to stay top 8 seed so she can't draw Serena b4 the SF.

I say this every time, but Lena is too good a player to be losing all these matches to JJ so readily. Hope JJ can get through it though.

I only have two things to say about this match.

I'd like to see a competitive encounter between these two, but, considering the surface and prior matches, I think Jankovic should win this in straight sets.

Me too. But I think that because they've played each other so many times that Elena is just bound to get another win off Jankovic. haha

I think that JJ is the favourite but I expect from Lena a better effort in comparison with the QF in Miami.

There's a lot I could say about this match up, trust, but ultimately JJ is a smarter player than Elena with a better backhand, and she can use both to disrupt anything Elena can do.

Elena does a few things fantastically well. She can't do any against JJ. Ever. And it's because of JJ.

JJ would need to play a stupid match (for her level at least) to ever lose to Elena again. Elena at her very best can't come out against JJ. Especially on slow red clay.

I think Elena will make this loss more respectable than the previous three. And I look forward to Elena beating her during the US summer hardcourt season.

The fact that Jelena should have an easier time winning because it's slow clay could be her downfall. :) I'm just staying positive.

Jankovic beat Elena this time last year in the Rome 1/4s 6-2 6-1 :p
hence my lack of optimism for an Elena win. Jankovic is too solid a player on clay and knows hows to play Elena well. Of course I hope Elena can play really well tmrw
