By the way, for Sesil fans, she twisted her ankle. :awww: She fell at 3-1 in the 1st set(I think). She couldn't run for a few games, but instead of dropshotting, Simona keps bashing the ball. :o Then after some iceing and massages, she could run again. She lost the match on her own, she came back from 1-4 in the e2nd to 3-4, and had at least 7 GP in that game, but got broken.

Sesil get well soon  :yeah:

let me guess ? she slipped over on her "home pregnancy testing kit", which fell out of her pocket just as she went for one of her backhands ?

I saw Halep play at the U.S. Open last year. She pounded Larcher de Brito. Halep has all the tools to be a great player, although she seemed a bit short. Her strokes were beautiful and she had great court sense. I think she got hampered by some sort of ankle or leg injury at the end of last year.

Nevertheless Sesil has been impressive this year with her comeback.
