Berlin 2008Vaidisova Apr 28th, 2008, 03:03 AM Nicole begins her clay season here with her new coach. Sharapower8 Apr 28th, 2008, 05:42 AM Let's see the differences (If there's any :o) :bounce::bounce: Sexysova Apr 28th, 2008, 05:22 PM come on Nicole! get your first title or big final  COME ON!!! :) Nadie Apr 28th, 2008, 08:06 PM Good luck Nicole :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: come on! :rocker2: :rocker2: Lunaris Apr 29th, 2008, 04:40 AM Let's see the differences (If there's any :o) :bounce::bounce: She will thrash our hopes soon enough I reckon. Spiritof42 Apr 29th, 2008, 06:47 AM While I don't really expect to see any immediate improvements to her game, I do hope she'll show up with a renewed appetite for winning and a strong desire to be the best player she can be. Neptune Apr 29th, 2008, 07:42 PM come on Nicole! get your first title or big final  COME ON!!! :) Good luck Nicole :bounce::bounce::bounce: come on!:rocker2: :rocker2: I Like the optimist of these posts ;) I really what to see how it works with her new coach. Corswandt May 1st, 2008, 11:12 PM She will thrash our hopes soon enough I reckon. At least you have hopes. That's much more than can be said for myself. Derek. May 2nd, 2008, 12:29 AM  Good luck Nicole! :) I hope you have found new motivation. Dor Y May 2nd, 2008, 06:48 AM Good luck? Will she be seed!! Lunaris May 2nd, 2008, 09:03 PM At least you have hopes. That's much more than can be said for myself. I personally don't have any, that should be recognizable from the manner of my post. When I wrote "our" I meant hopes of those fans who have them, but at the same time didn't want it sound like I am not on the board. Nicole will continue to suck for quite some time, I have no doubts. Michael_21 May 3rd, 2008, 04:16 AM COMMMEEEE ONNNNN nicole get bak 2 form hopfully the new coach has helped her already i cant wait :D Corswandt May 3rd, 2008, 10:10 AM Nicole will continue to suck for quite some time, I have no doubts. Random yet lingering questions of the past few days: - to prepare for the clay season she hires somebody whose claim to fame was coaching Henman? - and what exactly makes Felgate qualified to coach a top 20 WTA player? The only female player he ever worked with, as far as I know, was some Brit no-hoper. - if she really wanted to rebel and break free, why did she single out Kodat for the axe? - borderline tanking, no fight, piss poor movement - after effects of mono? Serve also gone? Why? But the most persistent one: - average out Nicole's least bad and lousiest performances of 2006-2007, and what do you get? #20-25? Maybe not even that? Heard from and seen on TV about as often as Alona Bondarenko? Less? Derek. May 3rd, 2008, 02:47 PM Nicole plays Dulko, who loves clay and is playing very well right now, in the first round. If a miracle happened and Nicole won, she would face either Wozniacki or Golovin in the next round. Sexysova May 3rd, 2008, 07:08 PM good luck Nicole! :bounce: it's a tough draw.. hope she's in a good form :D RsaibotD May 3rd, 2008, 07:25 PM not really a good draw:unsure:.... but I have faith :p.... good luck Nikki ;) Lunaris May 3rd, 2008, 08:01 PM Nicole could use beating some scrubs to raise her confidence, but for me personally this draw is exciting, because she will be tested from the start. Although Dulko might be tired as she has reached Fes final this week. Crank May 3rd, 2008, 08:11 PM Elle va encore se plaindre et se retirée probablement ... Michael_21 May 4th, 2008, 10:04 AM a really tough draw but it will be a good test for her hopefully she can win some matches and get bak 2 form if so that would be great :D GOOD LUCK NIKKI XD Corswandt May 4th, 2008, 11:13 AM  Have you ever considered working as a motivational coach? I'd give the most inspirational pep talks ever. Trust me: discipline through terror is where it's at. Bombing out in style it is then. afterall May 6th, 2008, 06:45 AM Don't really know why you are so pessimistic. As long as she is healthy and she wants it, she can whoop Dulko's ass. Derek. May 6th, 2008, 12:02 PM Good luck Nicole! :) Fight! Sexysova May 6th, 2008, 12:56 PM if I'm right they will show the match on ES!! :woohoo: Lunaris May 6th, 2008, 02:08 PM I have come earlier from my work than I should to watch Nicole sucking. It probably isn't worth it, but at least I will see what exactly is wrong with her. Don't really know why you are so pessimistic. As long as she is healthy and she wants it, she can whoop Dulko's ass. Says an optimist to a realist. ;) Sexysova May 6th, 2008, 03:48 PM why does she play like crap :sobbing: Sexysova May 6th, 2008, 04:08 PM UE by UE... really horrible play from Nicole.. can't believe she won the first set.. she needs to get it together or Nicole will drop a lot in the rankings :sobbing: RsaibotD May 6th, 2008, 04:18 PM expected defeat:sad:..... did anyone watch the match?? Lunaris May 6th, 2008, 04:20 PM Brainless play, poor footwork, dismal serving, whatever gets the job done. Mars May 6th, 2008, 04:20 PM What the hell was that? Nicole is .... I don't know what to say. What happend with her? Yellow Moon May 6th, 2008, 05:58 PM ouch . Should have stayed in bed... Neptune May 6th, 2008, 06:50 PM It seems like she's in the same situation as Gasquet is.They stopped to be competitive so, of course, it's harsh to come back strongly.Without saying that they don't know where they're right now but both not for the same thing. Well, I hope she will find an issue for her problem on court. Corswandt May 6th, 2008, 10:12 PM Nicole was much the same as she was in her previous losses, according to what I read in here about the latter. Plays really bad for a while, and then just stops playing at all. Lethargic, can't be arsed to rally or even to move. I wish her all the best in whatever she's going to do now that she's given up on a career as a tennis pro. Brainless play, poor footwork, dismal serving, whatever gets the job done. Ja, but the 1st set was just standard issue bad Nicole. It's the 2nd and 3rd set Nicole that is new and unsettling. Anyway, considering where Nicole is going to be playing by the end of this season (if she is playing at all), I assume you all know where to find challenger draws and scores? Derek. May 7th, 2008, 02:03 AM Nicole. Fight will you!?! I wouldn't overexaggerate saying she's done with tennis, or saying she'll end up in challengers. :o But she might wanna go down to Tier 3s and 4s to get confidence. Spiritof42 May 7th, 2008, 04:45 AM Sigh. I was hoping for an improvement in her attitude, if not in her game. But it sounds like she still doesn't give a damn. How sad. Lunaris May 8th, 2008, 01:17 PM Nicole is already in Rome, watching Stepanek's match in his box. Sharapower8 May 8th, 2008, 03:06 PM I really don't know what to think about her game... I just hope it won't be that bad for the French Open, she really has a lot of points to defend. And I just expect to watch her once this year before she lose. Spiritof42 May 8th, 2008, 03:48 PM Nicole is already in Rome, watching Stepanek's match in his box. Radek is doing pretty well out there. Had a nice come-from-behind win against Ferrer yesterday. Another three-set win today. Let's hope he can somehow inspire her to play better and find some much needed fighting spirit within herself. Lunaris May 8th, 2008, 04:56 PM Radek is doing pretty well out there. Wow, someone who can actually appreciate his tennis skills and whose immediate response doesn't include the word "ugly". :worship: Spiritof42 May 10th, 2008, 08:04 AM Wow, someone who can actually appreciate his tennis skills and whose immediate response doesn't include the word "ugly". :worship:  I find him quite entertaining to watch. I thought he played pretty smart against Fed yesterday. He could certainly teach Nicole a thing or two about the game, especially tactics. At the end of the day, beauty won't win you tennis matches. | |
