Aga ;) Keep going!

but Marta   wanted her to win.

Overall better score than in Stockholm and Marta had 3Aces nad 0 DFs :yeah: I just don't like when her 1st serve is like 50% it's way too low...

Marta, g-luck in Europe, Berlin probably is next?

This was by far the best match of the two days I've gone to Charleston. Seriously. Domachowska has a new fan in me--her serve and forehand are REMARKABLE. Even though she lost, I have nothing but respect for her now. She is so talented.

Radwanska played great too. Aga fans, please, don't lose heart she lost a set to Marta--there was an eleven minute game that ultimately decided who won that second set (when Marta broke Aga), and that's all that separated them.

Such a high quality match, in dreary, cold, windy conditions. Aga's groundstrokes are effortless. Just beautiful tennis all around from both players. In a day filled with otherwise boring matches, this more than made up for it. Congratulations to both girls. :clap2:

This match was fantastic! When the tournament is over, I may still consider this the best match of the whole thing. I expected it to be very close, and it was that and more. It had everything: blistering groundstrokes, beautiful defensive lobs, drop volleys, great serving. The quality was so high, I hated for anyone to lose. I was cheering for Marta, and was disappointed she lost, but both players should be very proud.

I love your opinions about the match. it's great to hear Marta played well. I was affraid she will be screwed up mentally, cause her head has always been her problem in tough matches. That was bad she drawn Aga in the opening round, but I suppose she did her best.

Congratulations to Aga, she was a fav. in this match and she did what she was supposed to. Good luck against Shaughnessy / Gallovits.
