I'm looking to go to Sunday's final, but am wondering a few things. Any veterans out there willing to share some advice?

Is a ticket purchased good for the entire day (Women and Men's final)?

I'm looking at the women's semifinal match right now and the stadium is mostly empty. Why are all the lower level box seats sold out?

Is my only option to buy from marked up ticket sites or are any box seats sold at the stadium on the day of?

Recommendations on parking?

Thanks in advance. :)

There is one session. Two matches. No day and evening. A ticket will be good for both matches.

Call the box office or try to buy online to make sure it is not sold out. I wouldn't be surprised if it is sold out. Last Sunday was sold out.

Box seats are usually sold in packages for the series. People may not attend early rounds, and even later rounds for women's matches if they are really intersted in the men. Also companies buy big blocks of them, but since the employees are not big tennis fans, they only want to see players they have heard of (Federer, Sharapova).

Parking is ten dollars across from the entrance.

If the match is sold out, you can try to buy a ticket on the grassy area outside the gate, before the matches start or maybe a little bit after they start. Also try Craigslist LA. You will get high asking prices with either one. Best bet will be to get it from the box office ASAP. (I just looked on Ebay and found good lower level seats for $150.)

:wavey:

Oh, and one more tip... what to eat? Go to the "John's" booth and get the Mahi Mahi Tossed Salad. $10.50. Bring it into the stadium and eat it while you watch. I still think about how delicious it was. :p

Thanks for the reply! I was able to snag the $150 tickets from eBay. Not a bad deal at all.

So, to be clear -- I'm not allowed to bring in my own food? The FAQ wasn't completely clear that it was forbidden, just mentioned that food was available for purchase.

Looking forward to some great tennis. :)
