Not bad, Jie :yeah: Definitely a winnable match against Kateryna B in the next round. She really hasn't been in the best form recently. Good luck :)

Emilie  That's 0-7 this year now. Really hope she can pick herself up, otherwise I fear another 2008 retirement

Does anyone know more about her situation this year?

Emilie doesn't feel well at the moment, she split with her coach ( who was also her boyfriend for many years ) a few weeks ago.

She withdrew from some tournaments with personal problems.

I see something is on in her personal life.

Oh really? That explains a lot.

Hopefully she can pull through this

Zheng. Good work!

Emilie will be back for Roland Garros, giving some other seeded player hell before bowing out gracefully.

Jie needs the points, after missing half of 2007. :yeah:

Poor Emilie, maybe she can pull a Jankovic and comeback from a 10 match losing streak

I somewhat expected Jie to pull off a win, but not to the extent of losing just one game. Good on her.
