Uhm, in case anybody forgot...the two most influential and significant players of our generation are playing tomorrow. They're SISTERS.

Bangalore had a weak draw but the Williams Sisters and Yan have really made it a solid tournament.

Much better than Antwerp in comparison.

I swear Jankovic was playing...:S Two top ten players and Serena Williams isn't that weak. Better than half the tournaments out there!

Bangalore is a WTA tournament. Las Vegas is a challenger. I don't know why people will persist in posting match threads from LV in General Messages when there is a Challengers Forum. Las Vegas is just a challenger, so obviously Bangalore is more exciting as more exciting players are there, simple as.

i like both as it looks like yan zi, shuai peng, tiantian sun and meng yuan being to have an intention to get out of the slump :rolls:

Agreed, I think the mods should delete these challenger threads... Most of the people in GM doesn´t care about challengers (except when Dokic and Sesil are playing!)

Aren't you the guy that said in another thread that you thought only 50-100 ladies actually played tennis? (search for it under your posts, edit it quick)

All of todays top players have played ITF tournaments previously, infact most where very solid and because of that they had a relatively easy progression through to being a top 50 and then top 20 player.

No i don´t remember that... anyway, the other one said there is a challenger forum somewhere, so it isn´t really necessary to post these results in GM

Vegas. To me Venus, Serena, or Jelena winning in Bangalore isnt a big deal to either one of them only Yan. In Vegas you have Asia and Madison who are young americans going for their 1st title and that more exciting to me. I could careless who wins Bangalore but Vegas I'm pulling for two people that winning this title is gonna be a big deal for them. That how I see it.

Bangalore DUHHHH. Hello, WS SF!? Does that mean ANYTHING!? :hearts: The only reason Vegas would have a hint of excitement is because Meng is playing. :hearts:

any tournament in which the williams sisters play each other is very intresting. its one of the few 'rivalries' on tour where the winner is totaly up in the air. they may not be the prettiest matches when they play, but it still intrests me none the less when they play each other, if its good tennis to me that a bonus in an all williams affair.

Las Vegas because of the young american players.

Neither as a whole was/is particularly interesting, but I still have Venus left in Bangalore and I'm happy for Patty if she can make the final and make a push for the top ten again.

I am extremely interested in Asia Muhammad's game though. Excited for Meng, I want her to win LV.

Both tournaments are finishing well. :yeah:

Normal people are not interested in Mohammed, Brengle & Yuan! They are boring players with a low rank (even if some of them are young & it is a teen spirit, & ....). If they grow up in they game & ranking, it`ll be interesting.

Of course it`s better to watch the top tennis players, such like Williamses, Jankovic, Schnyder. All of them would simply destroy the girls from Las Vegas. Because of that they play more prestigious tournament.

With that instant classic between Rena and Vee, it's no contest!!! That was one of the hottest matches of the entire season. Too bad it wasn't showcased on a big network here in the states for everyone to see.
