I'd rather she played qualies... at least she would win 5-10 pts if she got lucky. She will get only 1 instead.

Good for Ula, but i also think she may be best playing in the qualies...

btw, Caro got a wc last year, so maybe they give Top Rankt Juniors wildcards in IW.

It´s not so good for her to recieve this kind of WC, she needs to play some ITF tournaments or at least WTA qualies, she is not ready for big challenges.

IT's not like she's going to play a top-50 player in the first round...
She's got big chances to win at least one match.

Good Luck Ula :yeah:

It's not a waste of space :o I've seen Urszula on numerous occasions and she is a talented player and deserves to have her chances to compete against the best. However, I think it would be better for her to play the qualies

Mario Ancic is a wise choice for a wild card!

If Ula's WC is a waste, then Pivo's is too. :p

Natash.
Mar 7th, 2008, 01:58 AM
I don't think Pivovarova is a waste. :)

She's been playing the ITFs and winning most of the time. When she has her time in the big tournaments, she takes her chances.

She beat Karin Knapp in the first round of qualies when she got a WC. Hasn't gotten that many wild cards anyways. Earned her wildcard into the Moscow maindraw, beat Benesova 6-2 6-2 before losing a close one against Rodina.

Good luck to Nastya and Ula. :)
